Summary : The Avengers predict the Super Bowl.
The following characters are used in the story and I own none of them. They are owned by Marvel Comics. Characters involved in order of appearance: Hulk(Bruce Banner), Hawkeye, War Machine, Black Widow, Falcon, Ant-Man, Captain America, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Iron Man and Thor. I also don't own the NFL or any of the teams mentioned.
When asked for their predictions concerning the NFL play-offs and the Super Bowl, The Avengers made the following predictions.
Bruce Banner(Hulk): "I'll go with Green Bay, the other guy likes them because their green".
Hawkeye(Clint Barton): "The Patriots. They did the whole spy-gate thing. Was that good or what? They just slipped up and got caught. I mean, hey, if your not cheating, your not trying. What does the NFL have against spies"?
War Machine(James Rhodes): "I think Seattle has the best overall defense, so I'll pick them".
Black Widow(Natasha Romanoff): "Patroits. The spy-gate thing didn't work because they got caught but at least they tried to be sneaky and under-handed. I wouldn't have gotten caught but that's another story".
Falcon: "The Atlanta Falcons. What, you thought I'd pick someone else".
Ant-Man: "I'll represent the west coast and go with Seattle and Oakland".
Captain America: "The Giants are the New York team and the Patroits are the patriotic team so those two will be my choices".
Vision: "Over the course of the regular season, the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots have proven they are the best teams, so I would say it is only fitting that they end up playing in the Super Bowl".
Scarlet Witch: "I really don't know anything about American football but I will choose the Miami team. I like Dolphins".
Iron Man: "Iron, steel, it's all about the metal. The steel town team is going to do it. Unless, their saying they are the other kind of steelers. In which case, that's the ant guy's thing. They are the metal kind, right? Oh, good. In that case, it's Pittsburgh.
Thor(This prediction was given after the first round had been played): "I shall favor the Packers as they were able to vanquish the Giants. I hate Giants".
It's a bonus prediction. While no one is sure how Deadpool found out about the Avengers offering their predictions, he did and offered his own, even though he is not an Avenger and wasn't really asked for a prediction.
Deadpool: "You want a prediction about the football play-offs? Football ain't real. Those are holographic novels, I mean illusions, controlled by the people reading this story. You can't see them but I can. They are supposed to be behind a fourth wall. I'm not sure which of these walls in this room is the fourth wall. Must be that one. There are four walls here and that one was the last one I saw when I walked in so that must be the fourth wall. I just need to break that fourth wall so we can all see the people. I'll need a hammer, maybe Thor will let me borrow his. Hey, look these walls all have insulation on them. What kind of place puts insulation on the walls?
