Moonlight Knight

Chapter 1.

I sat on the window ledge watching the rain fall on a perfect Sunday morning.

Why watch rain instend of hangout with friends? Truth is ever since the accident everyone

abandon me. That's right friends, family, even teachers. Life was hard enough being me,

being a social outcast does not help me what so ever. I just wish there was at least one person on this earth I could talk to, connect with. But the world is a very curl place, I wonder

what life would be like on mars, surely it's better than life here.

Tomorrow was another day in school, no in hell is more like it. Students stare at me and

teachers yell at me. Ever since the accident it's been like this. Of all people why did this

happen to me? I keep telling myself that God has a plan for me, but what is it? And still why

pick me? I just want a normal life. Tomorrow I will have to suck up all my fears and do the

best I can.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek, I quickly whiped it away. I moved away from my spot by the

window and made my way down the stairs. When I turned the corner into the kitchen, I

spotted my father reading his newspaper.

"Good Morning daddy" I greeted him with one of my fake smiles.

"oh, Lysha Good Morning" He Answered back.

I took a seat across from him. Deep down I new he disliked me and shunned me. Sometimes

I just wanted to confront him and mom about it but I can never seem to do it. Life is just

one big mess, well for me it is. Iwas ready to head back up stairs what my mother walked in.

"Oh, Lysha I have something to tell you" she said taking a seat beside dad.

"About what?" I stared at my hands as if they were interesting.

"well your father and I made a decision to move you to Sword&Cross" She said.

"You mean that school for crazy people?" I couldn't believe this. I know I wanted to leave this

place, but to a school full of crazy people and possible killers!

"we think it's best for you. You can make new friends and have a new start." My father said.

There was no use in arguing. This is it, I finally get to have a new start, but not

the new start I wanted.

I left the kitchen and went back to my room. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I stared back

at myself in the morrior. Since the accident my eyes changed from the green I was born with

to a dark red colour and my hair from blonde to black, and from being pale to being a eerie

ghost white. My appearance scared a lot of people. I heard someone say I was a witch and made a "deal" with the devil. People are so curl and evil they don't even see it. Before all this happened my life was like every girl wanted. I was the most loved girl in school, the most

popular, and I was also said to be the most beautiful.

But in one night my life changed. Both mentally and physically.

My life is a ticking time bomb.

And I was not going to show weakness ever again.

Short I know, but it's the first chapter! Just wait till she meets the crazies!

Lysha (Lie-Sha) Means: Noble Wolf, She-Wolf, Beautiful, gentle. The name Lysha is

most known for meaning angel wings or in Romanian is the name of the Angel Of

Death.
