This is my first Pokemon fanfic. I love Pokemon so I desided to try and write a fanfic. Please exuse spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Have fun reading.
"Yeah! I finally got eight badges! Now I can get into the Pokemon League!" Ash said to Misty and Brock.
"Um, you need nine badges to get into the Pokemon League (1)," a girl said from behind Ash, Misty, and Brock.
"Really? I could have sworn it was eight," Ash said turning around. Misty and Brock also turned around to see who was talking to them. The girl looked about the same age as Ash. She had fringed bangs, medium brown color hair that went two inches past her shoulders and it was also fringed. She had blue eyes and fair skin. She was wearing a primerose color tank top, denim jean shorts that end at her knees. Light pink Converses, and black fingerless gloves. She also had a lime green messenger bag with two pink pockets on the front. Over the two pink pockets were one dark green strap per pocket to keep the pockets closed.
"They changed it," the girl said. Ash nodded.
"Then I need to get one more badge. But I need to get to Pallet Town. Wait, how do you know all this?" Ash said.
"I too, am a Pokemon trainer. My name is Amanda."
"Well Amanda, I challenge you to a pokemon battle," Ash said.
"OK. But I should warn you, I have ten badges," Amanda said. Amanda and Ash then got into position for a pokemon battle, with Brock as the refery.
"Ash vs. Amanda. You can only use one pokemon, no time limit," Brock said.
"I choose Pikachu," Ash said. Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder and onto the battle field.
"Go, Julteon," Amanda said throwing a pokeball. Julteon came out of the pokeball.
"Sweet, a Julteon," Ash said.
"Begin," Brock said.
"Julteon, Pin Missile!" Amanda called out.
"Watch out Pikachu. Agility," Ash called out. Pikachu started running around Julteon. Julteon seemed confused and didn't know which Pikachu to fire at.
"Pikachu, tackle," Ash told Pikachu. Pikachu started to run towards Julteon. Pikachu hit Julteon, but it didn't hurt Julteon. Instead the spikes on Julteon hurt Pikachu.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Julteon, Thunder," Amanda said. Julteon then attacked Pikachu, and won the battle.
"Amanda is the winner," Brock said.
"Oh, Pikachu," Ash said running to Pikachu and picking it up.
"Wow, you're good. I'm Misty by the way. And that's Brock."
"Thanks. Hey if you guys are going to Pallet Town I know of a gym that's in a town near Pallet Town," Amanda said, "Follow me." And Amanda started walking with Julteon at her side and Ash, Misty, and Brock in tow.
1. I know 8 badges is the limit, but I wanted to make it nine, this is my story after all.
