Opening the door
fell to my knees
looking around to each belonging
remembering each adventure we shared
picking up a photograph
realising an unfamiliar break in my heart
sowing to my soul
fighting the tears
losing the battle
tears cover my cheeks
my body trembled uncontrollably
the ache seeped deeper
each day passed
losing to the darkness within
until a voice spoke
opening my eyes
more tears fell
gazing into the bright light
shone behind thee
seeing thee smile
that warm, comforting smile
followed by a pair of arms
waiting with warm love
embracing thee
to finally become whole
with thee
I am nothing without thee
I can not live with out thee
my heart cant beat without thee
my soul will only die and disappear
