Max was the best fighter in town, and in Max's eyes Fridays meant parties, parties meant fights, and fights meant another slave for Max. You see every time Max wins a fight, she gets to keep her opponent for a day, and Max always wins her fights.
However, when Nick Walker "Fang" enters the picture, Max's life is turned upside down. Everything she knows about how to battle, combat, and fight won't save her from Fang's attack on her heart.
And pretty soon, her skills are no longer used to win slaves; she's being put to the test and she's going to need everything she can. For once, fighting wasn't a pastime.
Hey, guys. This here is not a new story, but my best friend's story. She didn't want to keep this story anymore and asked me to take it off her hands, and I, being the amazing person I am, did. So here it is: the introduction.
