Author's Note: If you guessed correctly (without reading ahead) review and tell me! If not, tell me who you thought it was.
Disclaimer: If I owned Harry Potter, this would be in the series and not on this website. Also, there'd be more cute little scenes like this.
"Would you like some tea?" she asked Harry smiling. He'd asked if he could come over some time saying that he had something very important to discuss.
"No thank you," Harry replied politely. He'd had enough experience with her cooking to accept, though he'd never tell her that.
"Why are you so nervous? You've been acting strangely lately."
"Well, I…." not being able to find the right words, Harry pulled a small black box out of his pocket and opened it to reveal a diamond engagement ring. "I'm going to ask Ginny to marry me."
"Oh. That's great! So, why are you nervous?"
Harry stared at her like she hadn't heard him. "I'm going to propose. You know, I'm going to ask her to marry me. Don't you think that would make me just a little nervous?"
"Why should it? Everyone knows she's going to say yes. You two were made for each other. Ginny's been grumbling about when you were going to propose for a while," she said matter-of-factly.
"Really?" Harry asked sitting up a little straighter and grinning.
"Oh, yes! I think she even said she'd been dropping hints too!" she nodded smiling.
"Thanks. I'm glad you could help me with this," he said grinning. "I can't talk Ron, you know," he shuddered on the inside imagining what Ron would say if they'd had this conversation.
"I'm not so sure," she said seriously. "He'd probably envy you for having the guts to propose to Ginny before he got the nerve to propose to Hermione."
"True, but you know, Ginny is his sister."
"I know. He always pretended to be angry with you and Ginny, but I actually think that he was glad when you started dating Ginny. Remember when she broke up with Michael Corner? Ron told her to chose someone better next time and he kept glancing at you. He trusts and likes you," she stated. "Whenever he acted like he was upset about your relationship, he was just pretending. He didn't want you to think that he was okay with it, even though he was more than he let on."
"Why wouldn't he want me to know that he was okay with us being together?" Harry asked confused.
"Ginny will always be his little sister," she said matter-of-factly.
"Thanks, I'm going to go plan a romantic way to propose to Ginny now!" Harry said standing up while going over possible ideas in his head.
"Alright, bye! Oh, Harry, could I ask you a favor?" she asked.
"Sure, anything," he said looking straight at her.
"Ginny said that I could be one of her bride's maids," she began. Harry nodded. "Well, could one of your wedding colors be yellow-gold? Sun colors are good luck at weddings!" she nodded vigorously.
He grinned at her. "Sure, anything, Luna," he said before disapperating.
