"Dean…Dean…" whispered Castiel from beside his human.

"Damn it Cas. Human's need to sleep. What is it?" Dean asked, keeping his eyes closed.

"I need to show you something," Castiel said. Dean sighed and reluctantly sat up.

"What is it?" Dean asked.

"Look," Castiel said and pointed towards the window of the motel room. There was snow slowly falling outside.

"It's snow Cas," Dean said

"I know. I've never seen snow from this angle before," Castiel said. Dean wanted to roll his eyes and go back to sleep but he couldn't resist those deep blue eyes that were filled with wonder. Dean got up from the bed and slipped on his boots and leather jacket. He held out his hand to Castiel.

"Alright, let's go," He said.

"Go where?" Castiel asked.

"To the snow dummy," Dean said. Castiel smirked and stood up, intertwining his fingers with Dean's. Quietly, as to not wake Sam, they made their way outside. Dean sat on the hood of the Impala while Castiel stood, staring up into the sky.

"It's really beautiful," Castiel said

"Come here huggy bear," Dean said. Castiel walked over to Dean, placing his hands on Dean's thighs. Dean took hold of Castiel's tie and pulled it, forcing Castiel closer to him. He placed a light kiss on Castiel's lips.

"I like the snow Dean," Castiel said.

"I can tell. I've never really liked snow, " Dean said, brushing the flakes off of Castiel's hair.

"Why not?" Castiel asked.

Dean sighed. "Well growing up Sam and I never got to go sledding, make snowmen or any of that crap. We never had a chance to have carefree moment when our father would go hunting for days at a time. I guess I was sort of jealous of the other kids," Dean said

"We can make men out of snow if you'd like," Castiel suggested.

Dean chuckled a little bit. "Nah, it's okay. I feel like people would find two grown men making a snow man a bit odd,"

"Maybe a little bit," Castiel said.

"I'm getting sort of cold. Hold on one second," Dean said. He walked over to his trunk and pulled out a blanket from inside. He opened the back door of the impala and climbed in, signaling Castiel to follow him.

"Come here," Dean said, pulling Castiel closer to him and wrapping them with the blanket. Castiel snuggled into Dean's side, resting his head on the hunter's shoulder.

"You're really warm," Castiel said.

"Is that your subtle way of telling me I'm hot?" Dean asked.

"Of course," Castiel said sarcastically.

"Hey Cas,"

"Yes Dean?" Castiel asked.

"I know I'm not good at talking about my… feelings and crap. But I want you to know that I care about you and I love you," Dean said, his face blushing furiously. Castiel smirked at Dean's bashfulness.

"I love you too Dean,"

Dean wrapped his arms tighter around his angel. It was funny how even during a snowstorm in the cold backseat of Dean's Impala, they couldn't think of anywhere else they wanted to be.
