"Austria, what are you doing?"

Switzerland watched as Austria began to pout, he sat on the floor and crossed his arms.

"Why can't I live here with you?" He asked, not looking at Switzerland.

"Because, you live in Austria. You are right next door." Switzerland assured. "It isn't like I am going to be that far or anything." He said, rolling his eyes.

"Yes, but if I stay here, you can always protect me."

Switzerland blushed. "I can't always protect you, you need to learn to protect yourself!" He yelled.

"No!" Austria fought. He stood up and started walking towards the closet. "I am going to live in your closet so you can protect me and care for me forever." He stated with a spoiled tone. He walked into the closet and slammed the door.

"Austria, get out of there." Switzerland said, knocking on the door.

"No." Austria said and sat in the corner.

Switzerland gave up and sighed. He knew Austria, he wouldn't stay in there forever.

Switzerland walked into his kitchen and began to pull out baking supplies.

After about 15 minutes, Switzerland was putting a poorly made cake into the oven. He closed it up and looked towards the closet. He hadn't heard anything from Austria for a while.

He walked into the hall and knocked on the closet again. "Austria?"

Switzerland heard a sniffle. He opened the door and peered in. He saw Austria sitting in the corner of the closet. His cheeks were stained with tears.

"Swiss!" He cried and ran out of the small closet, attacking the Swiss man and knocking them both to the ground.

"Gah! Austria what are you-"

"It is bad in there!" Austria cried. "There is no music or piano and no one was in there and I got worried that you had forgotten about me and left me to die!"

Switzerland pushed Austria off him. "I didn't forget about you." He assured. "And I told you not to go in there."

"No you didn't." Austria pouted, wiping his eyes. "You said to get out of there, you never said I couldn't go in."

Switzerland rolled his eyes. "You're hopeless." He said, but patted Austria's head with a small smile. Austria smiled up at him.

"But you love me."

Switzerland blushed. "S-sure…" He said, before a ring from the kitchen caught his attention. "Oh, I made you something." Switzerland said. Austria's eyes lit up.

"Food?"

"Yes."

"Cake?"

Switzerland chuckled. "Yes."

Austria nodded, though a smile was still on his face. "Thank you." He said, his proper behavior returning. Switzerland nodded and walked into the kitchen, Austria following behind.

Switzerland pulled out the cake and put it on a plate. It was lopsided, and not at all pretty. But, Switzerland was proud. He only used three ingredients and not a lot of sugar. It was healthier and cheaper that way.

Austria made a disgusted face.

"That looks like death." He said.

"Oh, just eat it." Switzerland said, presenting a plate to him. Austria frowned, but finally took a bit.

"It tastes…Okay." He said. Switzerland rolled his eyes.

"You're hopeless."

"But you love me."
