Prologue

Every story has a beginning and end. As every person lives their lives every day, their story is being told. Every story is different as it progresses, but inevitably, the end result is the same. The end, quite simply, is death. No matter how much glory one may gain in their lifetime, death results only in death. What one does in life does not follow them to their grave. Life itself is a sick joke. No matter what you do, in the end, it amounts to nothing. Nobody can escape death. Every story has an end.

Even so, what happens if the author intervenes? When the so-called goddesses themselves intervene with the story, and make life different, more interesting? The Hero of Time, Link, and all of his incarnations, posses the Triforce of Courage and the Master Sword. They had been touched by the goddesses, and his story is like no other. However, they are still mortal. Even heroes must go to the grave at some point. Some people seek a never-ending story, they seek a happy ending that lasts forever, but nobody had ever achieved true immortality alone. Only one person had ever been blessed by the goddesses with true immortality, but this blessing is more of a curse than anything. In fact, it is his eternal punishment.
