Kat felt confine in her parents' home and had to go for a walk. Ironically, she ended up where the source of her pain loved to go. It is only fitting that I would subconscious come here. Kat had thought Tommy was the only man for her and that they would be sending out invitations to their spring wedding. She had everything planned out since she was a little girl and was only missing her prince which she thought she had found in Tommy but as fate would have it he proved to be someone else's prince charming. How could he have chosen her over me? I did everything I could think of to make him happy yet it seemed to not be enough. How could he have gone back to the woman that hurt him so deeply? Kat could not phantom why Tommy would do such a thing. She sat on a rock and glazed out at the ocean lost in her thoughts.
Jason had liked Kat for some time now but hid his feelings because Kat was with Tommy and seemed to be in love with him. Now that Tommy had left, Kat for Kim he figured now was a good time as any to tell her about his feelings for her. He went to her parent's house in search of her and was told that she went for a walk. Jason searched high and low for her when he decided to look for her at the park. He walks up through the park and sees her sitting in Kim and Tommy's favorite spot by the rocks. He wondered why she would come here. Jason slowly began to move towards her. "Kat," called out to her softly.
Kat jumps when she heard a man's voice. "Oh Jason you scared me."
Jason walks the rest of the way to Kat and sits down by her. "I am sorry about that; how are you holding up?" "Tommy told me what happened."
Kat held back her tears, "I guess he would have eventually told you as well as the others." "What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you." Jason grabs Kat's hand.
"Me?" Kat questions him a little stunned that he grabbed her hand.
"Yes, I came to find you." Jason takes a deep breathe. "Kat I have liked you for some time now and I want to ask you a question."
"Huh but you never said anything?" Kat has a confused look on her face.
"When Tommy was brainwashed and I met you; I knew you were the girl I wanted to be with but you were with Tommy and he is one of my best friends, so I said nothing."
Kat nods her head. "I can understand that but why would you like me?"
"I know you are doubting yourself since Tommy broke up with you but you should not beat yourself up like that." "Tommy and Kim are just meant to be together although Kim became a little sidetrack." "They are just soul mates; the crane and the falcon."
"And I am chopped liver; I get it Kim is perfect and I am not."
"No Kat no one is perfect; they just are perfect for each other like I hope us to be one day."
"Uh did I just hear you correctly?" Kat looks into Jason's eyes.
"Yes you did; I came here to find you to tell you that I would want to take you out on a real date." Jason held Kat's hand up to his heart.
"A date with you; I would love that." "Secretly I had developed an innocent crush on you."
Jason smiles at Kat. "Great then it is settled." "Uh Kat why did you come here," Jason asked.
"I think it was to finally let Tommy go; you know move on."
Jason nodded before he kissed Kat while stilling holding her hand.
