A Dragon's Path
By Jason M. Lee

Actually an assignment for my British Literature class. I had to tweak it a lot.

Disclaimers: Blah blah blah. We know 'em. WATSUKI-SENSEI IS STILL THE BEST!

A dragon once lived alone in the skies,

He joined the war in belief to protect,

Sadly, blood began to cover the eyes.

Four autumns later, he left with mind set.

Fly ten springs down the unknown future road,

By chance meeting a strong spirited woman;

Staying at her place though bearing a load,

Changing and taking the shape of a man.

Through the half year spent danger came,

Alongside deep seeds were being place.

He fought through with heart and showing no shame,

His friends coming along, going past haste.

In the end he made a choice to his wife:

The dragon would rather to be with life.

AN: Elizabethan sonnet I had to do for English. It's like a poem of four stanzas, two lines at the end. The first three rhyme every other line, whereas the last two (couplet) rhymes together, as evident. I would've gotten a better grade but my English sensei didn't take a peek at the last page. *scribbles nasty stuff about sensei* Ahwell, at least I enjoyed writing this. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Sensei wanted our sonnets to be ambiguous but not too vague. Since I was on a caffeine-rush at the time, this came into mind. *smiles* I'm such a hardcore nut, ain't I? *twitches a neko ear*

BTW, anybody gonna try the challenge I set up in my other fic "Two Sides of a Coin"? It'd be interesting. Just a little something. Your choice.
