Dreams and Nightmares
I dream
I see angels fall
Demons laugh
Men wander in
Darkness screaming
And angels
Black wings
Ice blue eyes
White hair like snow
I wander on earth
White wings clipped
Unable to fly
Unable to fight
The darkness
That humans
Create while leering
At the spectacle
Eventually my angel
She finds me
Forgives me
As she takes my hand
I wake
No memory lingers
But I still
Feel her touch
Still see her eyes
She gives me strength
To get through
This World
Where wars are fought
For nothing
Love is cursed
Because it exists
But I only want
To remain
Asleep
With my angel
Beside me
