Arizona and Callie have been dating for a while now. Recently they havent seen much of each other because of work.
Just a little one-shot
As Arizona was making her way down the hall heading for the on-call room. She soon felt a pair of hands slither around her waist which stopped her dead in her tracks. She turned around to see Callie smiling ever so widely at her she relaxed herself and fell into the embrace.
"What have I told you about sneaking up behind me!" Arizona states, seriously but playful at the same time.
Callies hands fall to her side as she continues to follow the Peds. surgeon. They head down the hall coming to the on-call room door, opening it and stepping inside.
"I'm sorry baby." Callie says, as she closes the door behind them. She quickly grabs Arizona by the lab coat she is wearing and pulls her into her. Brushing some stray pieces of hair out of her face, she stares deeply into the blue orbs of her girlfriend.
"You're so beautiful.. I've missed you" Callie states sadly, as her eyes dart to the floor
"You always know what to say to make me smile." A smiling Arizona says, as she goes on "And I know, Ive missed you too, work has just been so hectic lately." Arizona states. Callie notices she looks tired, and worn out. Arizona leans in and brushes her nose against Callie's pushing her back into the door a little forcefully. Callie grunts at the gesture but enjoys it. Her hands come up to grace Callies cheek, as she leans in and connects their lips. Hearing a moan come from the brunette, Arizona smiles into the kiss, and deepens it. The blonde's hands move down to Callies neck, slowly inching lower to her rib cage eventually resting on her hips. Both ladies pull away when oxygen becomes necessary, and Arizona rests her head against Callies.
"Wow" Callie breaths, "I miss this."
"I know, that's why I pushed back my surgeries for tomorrow and told them I was taking a personal day. Its your day off so we will have tonight to stay up late, and tomorrow to sleep in."
"Really? Babe you didn't have…" Callie starts to say but is quickly cut off by the blonde.
"Yes I did Calliope. We need some time to reconnect. We need time to relax, and enjoy each other. A day off isn't going to hurt anyone. Besides if I don't get some down time here soon, im going to end up exhausting myself."
"I love you" Callie simply states as she pulls Arizona back into her and wraps her arms around her. Nuzzling into her neck, laying gentle sweet kisses down her neck leading to her exposed collar-bone. Arizona closes her eyes as a moan escapes her lips. They fall into their own little world for the moment. Both women were startled when the Peds. surgeons beeper went off, backing away Callie looks at Arizona and awaits for her to check it.
"I gotta run... I should be outta here within the next hour though, just gotta check on my patient and finishing a chart or two." Arizona smiles, leaning placing a kiss on the Brunettes lips.
"We'll pick up where we left off later?" winking at Callie as she makes her way to the door.
"We better" Playfully swatting the ass of Arizona she follows her out. The doctors go their separate ways, and Callie rushes to finish her charts so she can get home and have the blonde to herself.
"One hour… five charts…two patients... challenge accepted." She thought to herself as she continued down the hall with the biggest smile plastered on her face.
