I'm putting a sad warning on this. My muse has hardly been with me this year but when it is it only wants to write sad things. I will take what I can get, sad or not.
I wrote down nine or ten differenly titles before thinking of this one, and I still don't think it right.
And lastly I want to say a big THANK YOU to my Beta SnowFow3, without her well there be a lot more mistakes that for sure. All kidding aside, she awesome!!! :)
Okay, I'm done. R&R.

After that was her figure: every day she looked more and more like a skeleton. Daniel maintained through the whole ordeal that she was beautiful as ever. Oh, she really, really, did love this man and that why, when one morning he asked her to marry him, she didn't say no. Vala wanted to, she didn't want him to lose another wife, a widower all over again. All she wanted was for him to be happy, and she knew this would make him happy.
Their wedding was small, but all the important people were there. Sam, Jack, Mitchell, Dr. Lam, and General Landry. She was wearing a white dress and Teal'c walked her down the aisle.

"I do." Vala echoed.
All of the Doctors predicted she was going to die in May; of course, Vala had other plans.
"Don't worry darling, May's a horrible month to die in. Don't you think?' He didn't answer; he just sat there holding her tight.
Daniel buried his wife on a bitter cold day in January. The ground was stubborn and didn't want to break, it reminder him of Vala, even more so when it finally gave in and let the shovels through.
