Mathew was cold. He may be one of the Arctic nations, but this was too much, even for him! He had decided to pay a visit to his boyfriend, Ivan, at his place, but when he had came in with his key, he had found that the heater was broken! He shivered, looking around. He had already looked everywhere for his boyfriend, the only place left being his bedroom. He cracked open the door, poking his head in as he looked around. He opened the door all the way in as he saw noone was there. He walked in and looked around again, more carefully this time. The only thing that was different from the last time he had been here were the extra blankets on the bed. There were so many blankets on it that you couldn't even see the matress. He plopped down on the edge, sighing as he rubbed his arms. He fell back, thinking that perhaps his boyfriend had gone to see his boss. He felt something shift beneath him. He screamed and quickly sat up as the giant pile moved. He tried to stand up, but two arms wrapped around him. He screamed even harder and tried to hit whatever had a hold of him.

"Mathew, is that you?" He heard a quiet whisper behind him, along with a loud yawn. He turned his head slightly to see a sleepy Ivan, his hair sticking up in places and his eyes bleary. Mathew sighed on relief.

"Holy maple, I thought you were some kind of monster." Ivan chuckled sleepily, falling back onto the pillows, taking Mathew with him. Mathew giggled and brought his legs up to tuck them beneath the blankets he pulled out of Ivan's embrace to put all of the blankets back in place. He blinked in surprise as he realized how warm it was beneath all of the blankets and with Ivan.

"Were you hiding out here because of the heater?" Ivan nodded, yawning.

"Da. But it felt so nice and warm that I fell asleep." Ivan wrapped his arms around Mathew and pulled him against his chest. Mathew smiled and wrapped his own arms around Ivan.

"But where are the Baltic nations?"

"They are at their own homes. Usually, Estonia would fix it, but I gave them the weekend off."

"How nice of you." Mathew nuzzled his neck.

"Well, until they come back, I'll keep you warm." Ivan pouted.

"That is no good." Mathew looked up at him.

"Why not?" Ivan kissed his forehead.

"Because I want you to always warm me, like the way you warm my heart when you're around." Mathew blushed, burying his head in Ivan's shoulder.

"You always say such embarassing things." Ivan chuckled.

"Because they're true. I love you, my precious sunflower."

"I love you too, Ivan." They both smiled and stayed there, together, until they eventually fell asleep.

This is just a short little fluff piece I felt like writing. I might make a smut version, but I'm not quite sure. Well, I hope you enjoyed it!
