Thanks To Sweets

It was an ordinary day in Tokyo City; the sun was out on this summer day and birds were singing around the city. "Come on, let's go to a candy shop and stuff our faces with sweets." said a hyper Momoko who run in front of her friends, but turned around when they weren't following her.

"Sorry Momoko, I'm going shopping for the new summer line at the stores, so bye!" smiled Miyako who ran into the first store she saw.

"Well, that means I'm left with you, Kaoru." she said while hooking arms with Kaoru's. "Come on to the candy store!"

Kaoru pulled back from her and said, "As much as I want to fill myself with sweets Momoko, I have a date with a skateboard and a skate park." Kaoru hopped on her skateboard and skated to the skate park as she waved to Momoko. "Maybe next time!"

Momoko's POV

I watched as my friends left me to go do whatever they wanted. I stood out in the open for a bit and I sighed, "Well…it's just me, myself, and I." I fixed my bow and started for every candy store in Tokyo the first being Sakurako's shop. "Hi, Sakurako! Can I have my-" I started, but once I looked around I saw that the shop was full of people. Sakurako was running around helping everyone with the menu, sweet orders, and others stuff a shop owner would do at this time. I sighed and walked out not wanting to bother her with my heavy sweet tooth. Well, there are other stores…I better get started.

I walked down to every sweets store and only found two stores I could get anything from thanks to me transforming and all. I got some dango, pocky, and imagawayaki. What a boring day. I sighed while holding the smallest candy bag in my life. I flew to the park and sat on a bench to at least enjoy the hot summer day today. Some people came up to me and got my signature or took pictures with me which made me feel quite happy that everyone still looked up to me. Sometimes I would wonder if I was gone would it make Miyako's and Kaoru's job easier. I shook my head knowing that was a stupid thought then beginning eating a few of my sweets and looked at the happy couples who were enjoying some kakigori. I wish I could have someone to be all lovey-dovey with.

"Aaaahhh! Pervert, give me back my purse!"

"No way, old hag!"

I know that voice. I turned around and saw that person I wish would leave me alone at times like this…Brick. I got up as I summoned my yo-yo and made him fall over with it. He fell right on to his butt and I had to laugh at that. The woman came to us and thanked me, but slapped Brick in the face and took her purse back. "Smooth, Brick." I giggled after she left us alone.

"Haha, Blossom." He mumbled while stood up about a few feet above me. I looked up at him when the light hit him making his red, blood eyes shine causing me to blush lightly. "So, where's Bubbles and Buttercup?"

"Busy..where's Butch and Boomer?" I asked while sticking a pocky in my mouth.

"Busy." he said while taking the pocky out of my mouth and eating it himself.

"Hey, that was mine!"

"Oh and are these yours too?" he smirked while holding up my sweets.

When did he get those?! "Yes, they are! Now give them back!" I reached up for them, but he took off flying in the sky and shaking them in his hand. "Give Them Back, BRICK!" I flew up to him tried to get them back, but he moved again.

"You have to tried to get them from me." he laughed then placed a imagawayaki in his mouth. He started flying fast trying to lose me, but I stayed right on his tail.

That big brat! I'll get him for taking my delicious sweets! "Brick…"

"What!?"

"I got you." I smiled while holding on to his jacket once he looked back. I grabbed the sweets from his hands, but he took them back. Then we started a tug of war over them which made me smile a little. This is kind of fun.

Brick's POV

We both started this tug of war over the sweets and she seemed happy about. She looked pretty when she smiles…w-what am I saying I can't like a puff. I shook my head and soon the sweets fell out of our hands. She looked at me causing me to smirk and I started for them.

"No way you're getting my sweets, Brick!" she yelled and started flying beside me.

I laughed, "Sure you will, Blossom." She so cute sometimes..I mean ugh! Suddenly she started falling fast out of the sky and screaming at the top of her lungs. I rushed to get her and then we hit the ground pretty hard. We had falling on our sides and she seemed to be closing her eyes and shaking a little. "Blossom, you can open your eyes now." She opened her soft, pink eyes which seemed to be more beautiful up close. W-Why is she staring at me like that?

Blossom's POV

I don't know what had happened?! I was first trying to get to my sweets, but my shoes seemed to stop all of a sudden. I started falling and screaming with my eyes closed knowing very well the impact would hurt. But, then I feel two warm arms wrap around me before hitting the ground as I started shaking. "Blossom, you can open your eyes now." I opened my eyes and saw red, blood eyes looking at me.

B-Brick you save me but why? I noticed that I was really close to his body and I blushed a dark shade of pink. Why is he still holding me? Does he like me…no he wouldn't like me…but I love him. It was embarrassing at first when I realized I had feelings for him the time he aged up, but now it was getting harder to pretend I didn't like him. I also noticed that his arms had tighten around me bring me closer to him. "B-Brick…" I blushed.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to!" he blushed while loosing his hold on me.

Then I bought him in closer. "What were you about to do?" I whispered hoping I wasn't imagining things.

Brick's POV

Stop looking at me like that! Just because I have feelings for you doesn't mean I'll kiss you. I didn't notice I was pulling her into me. "B-Brick…"

"Sorry! I didn't mean to!" I felt my face getting hot and I started loosing my hold on her.

Then she pulled me in closer and whispered, "What were you about to do?"

What was I going to do…was I about to k-kiss her? I then felt her breath close to my lips. Did I get closer or did she? In a matter a second I felt her lips on me. She taste like sweets. We broke apart from our kiss that had turned into a make out game as our breath come out in gasps. "Did I started this or did you?"

"I-I don't know?" she blushed while looking down. I could tell we were both feeling a bit awkward at what just happened, so I got up and reach for her hand. She took hold of my hand and she tried getting up only to grab her ankle and started shaking.

We must have hit the ground hard than I thought. I got down to her level and said, "Get on, Blossom."

"You sure?"

"Yes." She climbed on my back and I started flying to her house as I felt that she had falling asleep on the way there. Silly Blossom. I knew where she lived and I also knew that her real name was Momoko. I know creepy right, but hey if you don't know the person you love well how are you going to real know them? I went inside her room by the window and placed her on her bed as I figured out how to turn her back into her normal form.

"How do I know this isn't a dream, Brick?"

I looked at her and saw that she was still asleep. Sleep talker. I kissed her forehead and whispered, "It's not a dream, Momoko. I promise."

Momoko's POV

I woke up to find myself inside my bed. So, it was a dream. I looked at my desk and saw a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a note. I made my way over to my desk,picked up the note, and started reading it.

Good Morning, my Momoko,

No, yesterday wasn't a dream…I promise.

Here a sweet treat for you since you didn't get your sweets.

Enjoy! I love you!

I blushed at the last part. He loves me! Then I noticed there was a P.S at the very bottom.

I looked down and saw I was in my pjs which made a bright red blush come to my cheeks as I opened the window. "Brick When I See You Again You Are Going To Get It! Do You Hear Me?!"

Brick's POV

I chuckled hearing that since I had stayed there all night and could clearly hear her. I flew up to her and kissed her lips making her blush even more. "I hear you, my Momoko Blossom." I smiled and picked her up into my arms.

"I love you, Brick." she giggled while hugging me.

"I love you, Momoko."
