Little Bit Of Backstory
-this is set during season 4
-the boys have met Cas (back in season 2), and he didn't raise Dean from perdition. They met Cas because Dean was mourning his dad's death and prayed to "anyone who would listen" and Cas took pity on him and at the favor of a friend (this will get explained later).
-Dean has died and is somewhere in hell (from the demon deal in season 3).
-No Lilith. Raphael held Dean's contract (he's got some shady hell stuff going on…it'll get explained).
-Ruby found the colt and gave it to Sam. Sam doesn't dabble in demon blood magic. He spent the four months hunting and killing demons (if they didn't give him answers…and if they did…he pretty much killed everyone).
-Bobby helped Sam with hunting.
-Cas checked out for a bit (Dean was dead and Sam had Ruby and Bobby…Cas didn't want to work with Ruby and Sam wouldn't listen when Cas told him she was bad news so he left). He spent the four months in poor countries healing people and tuned out heaven until he happened upon an old friend while he was checking in on Sam.
-Baby was kept under a cover in Bobby's garage and Sam sort of made it into a shrine they would drink beers at after a hunt.
CHAPTER ONE
"Grab my hand, Dean!" the girl's voice was hard to hear over the cacophony of terrified and painful sounds that threatened to pull him under. He looked around, his hands clutched his head like it would fall to pieces otherwise. The boiling heat of the hell fires surrounded him. "Dean!" He looked at her outstretched hand, small and delicate. Her left arm was stretched behind her, holding on to something, like she was leaning through something trying to reach him. Her hazel eyes shined with fear.
"No!" He shouted back at her, squinting his eyes to escape the heat of the flames. "Who are you?"
"I'm trying to help you," she shouted back. Something pulled her away from him; she screamed in pain and fought the force, her arm still reaching for Dean's. "Please, Dean, we have to go!"
"Where?" The fires and screams grew hotter and louder, closing in on them. "How do I know I can trust you?"
"Dammit Dean, take my hand! NOW!" She reached as far as she could and he grabbed her wrist. He yelled as a sharp pain dug into his arm where her hand was clenched. Then everything was black.
