UGH you guys have no idea how much I've been wanting to write a VanillaButter story! But this was the best I could think of and it's so short! ;-; Guys, I have no more VanillaButter ideas. ASDFGHFJDKIAISHJKdbhafkjchDHKWJAH. ;n;

Disclaimer: I don't own Wreck-It Ralph.

It was raining in Sugar Rush. Completely pouring. Lemonade fell from the skies and landed on the ground repeatedly. It was like taking a shower outside, it was coming down so hard.

But that didn't stop Vanellope from wondering off.

The ex-princess jumped and splashed in the puddles, getting herself drenched in lemonade. But she didn't care, not one bit. She'd rather be there than in the castle for everyone to yell at her. It was like she couldn't do anything fun there! So what if she hung from the pink- sorry, salmon chandelier? So what if she accidentally broke a few things in the process? It was still fun!

But maybe that wasn't why she was upset. Maybe it was because she'd lost today? Or maybe because some characters from a new game that had been plugged in called her stupid and annoying? ...Yeah. That was it. It was fairly easy to let that go one ear and out the other, but when they started poking her again, causing her to glitch, and calling her more names, it was just rude. Not only that, but it brought back old, horrible memories that Vanellope would rather NOT remember ever again... But they'd somehow made her remember it and feel the pain and hurt once again.

The short racer stomped around in the puddles, kicking the sugary dirt over and over as she walked out of rage. Thunder rumbled in the distance.

"Hey."

She stopped when she heard a voice speak to her soothingly and a jacket rest over her shoulders.

She simply scowled at the ground. "Just leave me alone, Rancis. I'm not in the mood."

"What are you doing out here?" he asked anyways.

"It's none of your business."

Rancis stepped closer to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. But Vanellope didn't want any sympathy; I'm not some weak, whimpy diaper-baby! she thought. She stepped back, pushing his hand away. Nothing good came out of that, unless you counted tripping over your own two feet and landing in a gooey chocolate puddle good.

The girl sat there in the puddle, holding back tears. Don't cry... It's just some stupid puddle... she thought. But she couldn't help it; she had bottled up her emotions for a while, thus making them worse now.

Rancis instantly bent down next to her, grabbing her arm and helping pull her up. "Vanellope, I'm so sorry! Are you-" he was cut on by Vanellope hugging him. She silently cried into his shoulder, not wanting him to notice how much of a sissy she could be.

The peanut-butter boy was shocked at first, but then hugged back, "It's okay." he said, "You're okay now."

And they stood there holding each other for a while, just the two of them, together in the rain.

So, yeah... I've been trying to write a lot of VanillaButter stories lately, so they could become more popular, and accomplish my goal. My goal is to get fanart of one of my fanfics. Hopefully I'll get that someday. :D

I hope you guys liked! :D Please review!
