Hoggle walked through the castle hallways, avoiding the goblins and heading were he was supposed to meet Sir Didymus and Ludo. He was headed to the guest room or the room Sarah Williams stay in when she visit the labyrinth. Which was often. The room gave an aura of being used, like a loved teddy bear. Sarah often visited to see her friends and Jareth. Why she came to visit Jareth was anyone's guess, but she did. One might think they were friends. Hoggle didn't think that was possible.
When Hoggle ever asked Sarah about it, she simply brushed him off. Saying they were friends like she and Hoggle were. Somehow Hoggle found that hard to believe. Sarah told him he was looking too much into it when she caught him studying how she react around Jareth.
Hoggle rounded the last corner when he saw Ludo and Sir Didymus waiting outside Sarah's room. On closer inspection, he noticed the shock expression on their faces. ' What could possibility be going on over there ' mumbled Hoggle as he quicken his pace over to where they stood.
" What's wrong? " grumbled Hoggle to his two companions. Both turned to him in unison.
" Thank goodness, you are here Sir Hoggle. " exclaimed Sir Didymus to Hoggle. Ludo nodded in agreement.
" Sarah waiting... " explain Ludo.
" So, what are we waiting for? " questioned Hoggle.
" She is speaking with his highness at the moment. At least I think they are talking. " mentioned Sir Didymus to Hoggle nervously.
They looked up at each other and leaned closer to the door. To hear what Jareth and Sarah were discussing. All three listen intently and Hoggle glanced at Sir Didymus as Sarah's voice filtered through the door.
" I don't know, it tastes kind of funny "
Hoggle looked up at his companions blushing furiously. His eyes widen as the door began to open and could see that Jareth was coming out.
The three friends looked at each other and quickly jumped to the wall across from the door and waited there quietly. All holding there breath for the moment, as the door began to open. They heard Jareth's voice which was muffled.
" Farewell Sarah, I hope to see you again. "
Jareth went into the hallway joined soon by Sarah. Sarah waved to the three of them.
" Hey guys, didn't realized you came so early. Why don't you come in. " Sarah said.
The three just stare and Sarah just blinked at them. Jareth raised one eyebrow at them smirking. He kissed Sarah's hand causing her to blush and than left clicking his boots and cape swirling behind him.
Sir Didymus and Ludo went in leaving Hoggle outside with Sarah.
" Sarah, I totally understand. As your friend I am alright with your relationship with Jareth " stated Hoggle.
Sarah blinked in confusion. " What do you mean Hoggle? " asked Sarah.
Hoggle looked at Sarah as she blocked his statement.Hoggle stared at Sarah. "why did Jareth come to see you? " he asked.
" Oh!" said Sarah began. " He gave me these." showing a basket full of peaches. " Their sweet but, they taste kind of funny. Jareth says their supposed to taste like that." finished Sarah.
Hoggle just stare at Sarah as they walked into the room.
"Oh, I thought you two were discussing something else." mumbled Hoggle as he went to join the others.
Sarah smiled and pick up the crystal sitting on the vanity. "Only in my dreams" she sigh, placing the crystal down before joining her friends.
