The Rabbit and the Desolation of Yamato

A/N: Yo! Gleam-eyes here! I present this crackfic of DS2 based loosely on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. It might take a while for me to update this fic while I figure out a way to fit DS2 events in the The Hobbit framework. Yeah, I'm ambitious that way. ;P Anyway, on to the show!

"So, Shining One, class 3A's maid-and-butler café was such a success that the school principal asked me to organize a new event. Faced with such an opportunity, I presented him a human invention that has always fascinated me…" Alcor explained to Hibiki.

"…What?" Hibiki almost dreads the answer, the bunny maid outfit he had to wear still fresh in his mind.

"I suggested a play! With you as the main character!" Alcor said brightly, beaming.

"That's… that's great, Alcor!" The blue-eyed boy managed a smile. /Well, that doesn't sound so bad…/ He thought offhandedly.

"Here are the scripts." Alcor handed out the sheafs of paper.

"…" The whole class went silent, reading Alcor's script.

"What is this…?" Hibiki said blankly after reading the last page.

"I like it." Yamato finished reading at about the same time as Hibiki. He smirked and his eyes gleamed as he directed his gaze at the rabbit-hooded teenager.

Hibiki shivered. He knew that look. It was the look of "what Yamato wants, Yamato gets". He should know. It had been used on him countless times and it never ceased to have an effect on him.

"Jungo likes it too. Keita is cute in play." Jungo, smiling, looped his arm around Keita.

"Sh-SHUDDUP!" Keita sputtered and blushed, raging against Jungo like an angry cat.

"Thank you, Yamato Hotsuin and Jungo, maker of chawanmushi." Alcor smiled.

"Wait wait wait, I'm not saying I agree with this but… How will we execute a play of these epic proportions?!" Hibiki exclaimed.

Alcor turned and smiled mysteriously at him. "Shining One… I am a star. I can create any world I want to." He said with a tell-tale twinkle in his eye.

Hibiki had a sinking feeling in his gut. /Oh no… Not again…/
