It has been 11 years since Vectorman had defeated the former Tyrant destroyer of Humans, along with the Black Insect Queen. Vectorman, himself, however, is still at work. Without the other Orbots to assist him, Vectorman must clean the ENTIRE Earth on his own. As he uncovers one strange mountain of Sludge, he sees what seems to be a crack in the ground. "I hope this is an upgrade bunker", he comments. As he shoots it with his trusty Photon blaster, the ground breaks. Vectorman falls. He can only repeat to himself, "I'm going to hell" as he falls deep. Suddenly, his fall ends. "Ow, my many balls", Vectorman responds to his immense pain. He gathers all of his orbs, and puts himself back together...literally. As he sees some sort of arch, he heads toward it. This is the start.
