Chapter 1: The Letter's

Mildred Hubble looks at the window watching a speck grow larger and larger. "An Owl? Maud is it just me or is that an Owl?" Maud looks up from her food and notices the owl growing larger and larger she adjust her glasses noticing its a snowy owl holding an official seal from Gringotts and a letter on its leg. "That is an Owl it looks important. Miss Hardbroom! There is an owl coming!" Hecate Hardbroom never really flustered but today she is "It's holding a seal." She opens the window and lets in the owl which looks around before flying right at Ethel Hallow and landing in front of her proudly puffing out her chest which has a harness with a family crest. Esmeralda quickly walks over and talks quietly to her sister before Ethel reaches out and takes the letter and seal and unfurls before shrieking.

"Esmeralda I'm to be engaged to the Boy Who Live!?" She blinks in surprise. Esmeralda takes the seal and looks at it as Miss Cackle and Miss Hardbroom walk over "Ethel you might want to come with us so we can discuss this situation." Ethel gets up before looking at the owl "Do you need to wait for me to respond?" The owl smartly barks and nods. "Smart Owl." She says and lets the owl climb up to her shoulder before petting the owl's breast feather's.

Mildred looks at Maud "The Boy Who Lived? Who is he?" Maud sighs happily "The only baby who survived the killing curse, he is known as the Chosen One or the Boy Who Lived." Mildred nods "But what did Ethel mean she is engaged to be married?" Maud looks at her friend "Sometimes I forget your just starting in the Witching World. Basically means she Betrothal to Harry Potter." Mildred blinks "Are Miss Cackle and Miss Hardbroom going to be giving Ethel the special treatment now? Cause he is like a celebrity?"

Enid Nightshade who was quiet the whole listening to the conversation finally speaks up. "I heard he lives with an influential family. The Malfoy's. Cause his mother, Lily Potter, named Narcissa Malfoy his Godmother and his father named Sirius Black he Godfather who is Lord Black. Whatever the press is writing about they can snub anything out of line. Plus he is Heir to the Potter fortune and Heir to the Black's. Do to a Blood rite when he was younger."

"A blood rite?" Mildred asks confusion in her eyes, Enid nods "Basically if anyone looks at Ethel Hallow the wrong way. Well it isn't good. She is known now as Lady Potter-Black." Enid sighs "She is going to be a nightmare, plus we can't interfere with the contract that means she will be getting gifts, letters, and maybe an appearance here in the school." Mildred eyebrow's raise up "Letters and gifts?" Enid nods.

"Will we be seeing this Harry Potter and Narcissa Malfoy? Here at Cackle's?" Mildred then asks. Enid shrugs "It depends on Ethel Hallow if she is comfortable with it. Though I bet he will come here to check on her and officially meet her. Cause he is kind of a big deal."

Mildred nods before asking "Where does he go to school, certainly not Pentangle?"

Erid and Maud look at her "No he goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry apparently a fifth year Slytherin, Prefect and King in the Slytherin hierarchy. The school is headed by the most famous wizard other than the Grand Wizard himself." Maud replies. Mildred blinks "Who is that?" Maud gets a book of famous Witches and Wizards "His name is Albus Dumbledore who as the defeater Grindlewald." Mildred nods before asking "Are there books like that, that I can get?" Maud nods and pulls out a pamphlet "This a book order you can use to get extra books." Mildred takes and looks at it. "Wow!"

Meanwhile in Miss Cackle's office

Ethel Hallow looks at the document. "Is this for real? Harry Potter is my betrothal? Esmeralda did you know about this?" Esmeralda shakes her head "No I didn't." Ethel looks at Miss Cackle and Miss Hardbroom. "What happens now madam's?" She looks at her teacher and headmistress. Miss Cackle sighs softly "What does the letter say Ms Hallow? We need to be able to meet with their requests." Ethel nods and opens the letter and reads the letter.

Dear Ms Hallow or Ethel (assuming you will let me use your first name),

It has come to my attention that we a betrothal. My Godfather Sirius Black or Lord Black, found this document while searching through the Potter records with my account manger Silvertongue. Apparently the contract goes way back and is unbreakable. Mrs. Malfoy was kind enough to go with me and explain everything to me. She suggested to make a request I should ask. If that is alright with you? One I'm allowed to send you letters and gifts during breakfast and dinner they will start off small so please tell me what your favorite sweets and pastries are, please. Two you may have use my very happy House Elf called Dobby. I swear he worships me. And my last request is something I'm hoping your school will allow is visitations between us, whether it be here or there. Now that is it for now, I'm very excited about everything and I hope you are too Ethel Hallow... By the way the owl is named Hedwig, please treat her right.

Yours truly,

Harry James Potter-Black

Heir to Potter Family

Heir to Black Family

"I can't believe this Esmeralda, I'm engaged to be married! This is a shock to me, why would Mom and Dad, do this?" Esmeralda looks at her sister and picks up the seal then the letter and reads them. "This is real it seems." Ethel blinks her grey blue eyes and looks at her older sister, "Is there anyway to break the contract?" Esmeralda looks at it more seeing the magic and blood signed names "It doesn't seem so." Ethel sighs and looks at the contract then looks at her teachers "Everyone will make fun of me."

Miss Cackle smiles and shakes her head "I highly doubt that. Ms. Hallow I think it's the opposite of that. I think all the girls will most likely follow you and seek out answers from you."

Ethel Hallow nods in acceptance.
