Welcome to another story! I was honestly just reading fanfiction when I remembered a fanfiction I had written about 4 years ago but not on the website.
This story was inspired by ColorfulLoad's Maria Teaser Trailer which I saw a few years back so this prolouge is based on the trailer!
I really liked it so i'm deciding to make a fanfiction about it since the actual thing never came out so im gonna make a fanfic about it!
I'm just so excited so lets start already!

Prolouge
"Sh-shadow! ," she looked at the ebony hedgehog, a sad smile on her face. Without warning, she shoved the hedgie roughly into a launching hypersleep capsule and shut the glass door.
" MARIA!" the black hedgehog yelled as a soldier yelled at the young girl. Maria limped slowly to the control panel.
" Sh-shadow... I w-want you to m-make the people h-happy..." The young girl said to him pleadingly, as the soldier continued yeling at her. " P- promise me Shadow... Promise me!" she said louder, as the soldier counted from five.
" Five!"
"MARIA NO!"
" Four!"
"Promise me Shadow!"
"Three!"
"MARIA!"
"Two!"
"Goodbye... Shadow the Hedgehog, I Love You..."
"One!"
"NO MARIA!" Shadow yelled as hot tears ran down his cheeks as the gunshot rang in his ears, blood splattering on the window.
As the young girls limp body fell to the ground, with one last breath she pulled the lever and launched the capsule.
As the hedgehog fell in to space he resisted the sleep smoke the filled the capsule, not wanting to leave just yet.
" Maria, I will fulfill your wish, I promise," he said to himself boldly as he took, a deep breath and fell to the land the girl he loved so much cared about, Planet Earth.
Shadow the Hedgehog sighed sadly as he remembered the horrible memory he had hated. Anger boiled inside of him as he opened his crimson eyes and threw a chaos blast at a nearby tree.
Panting he sighed and closed his eyes, crossing his arms and taking deep breaths he managed to calm down.
The hedgehog was just listening to the sounds of the woods he was in, when something tickled his nose. He opened his eyes and saw it was a small yellow butterfly that was tickling his nose. He wiggled his nose making the butterfly flutter away as he closed his eyes again.
The butterfly landed on his nose again and slightly irritated he opened his eyes once more and looked at the butterfly that seemed to be beckoning the Ultimate Life-Form to follow him.
Out of curiostity, Shadow followed the butterfly through the trees and over a river.
He had passed a cave full of crystals while he was skating, but ignored it since his current objective was to see where the butterfly would lead him.
After few minutes of skating and searching, he had lost the butterfly but had found a clearing that had the view of an entire glimmering ocean.
The view was beautiful, but that wasnt what he was looking at. It was the hedgehog girl that was standing at the cliff edge.
She had yellow long and forward bent quills and a blue dress with matching headphones and boots. Her gloves and socks were white and long.
The male hedgehog just stared as the female hedgehog turned around to look at him, and in Shadows vision he saw his long lost friend.
A hot tear was streaming sown his face when he was blinded by white light.
The ebony hedgehog blinked and walked to the edge where the hedgehog girl just stood, looking around to see where she had gone.
The butterfly from before had landed on a blue and yellow flower that was near the place the yellow hedgehog was just standing.
Shadow the Hedgehog smiled and sat down on the edge of the cliff and looked at the view of the glimmering ocean.
"I Love You Too Maria."
Well that was the proluge of Maria!
