Just One More...

Chapter One

Oh Look! Little Tommy...

Bridgette Carter

Harry yawned as he followed a white haired woman. He was looking for a child... and damn, it was taking forever... It was because of that annoying woman. She would stop and yak about every child. He was glad there were witnesses, otherwise... he smirked. You get the point...

They stopped to one room. The door was light brown and the wood was started to get weak and soft. When Harry went to touch the door, a piece of wood fell through. The woman, , gave the door a disgusting glance. "Ugh... You don't need to see...him." She spat the name with such anger. Harry raised an eyebrow. Who was behind the door? He reached a hand out and slowly the door slid open.

A boy sat huddled on the bed. His knees were pulled up to his chest, his pale and shaking arms were wrapped around his legs. Harry bit the corner of his mouth. Maybe this was the one? He thought silently.

He took a couple steps away from the door. The child's head snapped to the side and looked at him fearfully. He had beautiful turquoise eyes. His hair was wavy and black and, oh my god, the skin was perfectly white. He was just too cute. Harry smiled and licked his lips. This could work... he had been looking for the best child... the cutest... the child that would (Cough) help with his... urges.

Harry planted himself on the edge of the bed. The boy glared at him. "What's your name, child?" The kid looked to the side, then looked back at him, his eyes widening a bit. The grip of his legs slackened. "W-why do you want to know? No one ever wants to know!" Harry chewed on his bottom lip. "Well... I'm someone who wants to know..." Tom smirked. "You never told me why!" Harry growled. "Just-tell-me!" He plastered a fake smile and started at the boy across from him. The kid looked to be no older then 12. Tom grinded his teeth. "Fine! It's Tom-Marvolo-RIDDLE! Now, why not do the honours and tell me yours?" Tom... that was a fitting name for him... This kid was perfect, but he needed to work on his attitude. Harry would fix it... "Watch that tongue of yours, boy and my name is Harry James Potter." Harry turned to Mrs. Walker and pointed a slender finger at Tom. "I want him." She nodded.

Harry smiled and went to ask another question, but Mrs. Walker beat him with the answer. "Just take him... I'll mail you the information." Harry got up, smiled and bowed to her. "Thank you, miss." He turned to Tom. "Pack your stuff." Tom shook his head. "Why should I?" Harry was already out of the room. He turned back. "JUST DO IT! Now!" Tom jumped to his feet and grabbed his black garbage bag and began packing. This guy... this Harry fellow... scared him. He figured he better be on his best behaviour... otherwise, he figured the man would seriously injure him.

Tom met Harry in the lounge within ten minutes. All his treasures were in his bag. He gave the bag a pat and looked up at the man. He was... so tall... Well, only about 5'8... and Tom was 4'9... So, not too much taller! This is when the Riddle boy got a good look at Potter. He had fair skin and brilliant green eyes. His hair was long and black. Tom started at Harry.. Wow... Harry looked down and gave a smirk. Tom looked away. Harry grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the orphanage and loaded him into his black truck. Then, they started driving off... leaving Tom's childhood "home" behind.
