He discovered the air was coming difficult to breath, the tempo of his heart slammed half crazed in his chest. He heard of love, thought he had been brushed by it's powers before, now as he stood underneath gray, storm beckoning clouds he knew he had been a fool. He just stood there, staring at her, emotion cleared from his facial expression, he wanted to smile, wanted to ensure her it was fine.

"When are you coming back Carey?" She had finally spoke softly.

"Likely in four months, but I could stay … if I had a reason." He was sure his heart was about to explode she stepped forward, resting her hand on his chest.

"I wish I could give you a reason Carey, I really do, I have none to give you though."

"Yes you do Molly! Come on stop hiding and playing games. I am guilty of it as are you. I'd say that kiss a few minutes was reason enough!"

"That was a mistake Carey, I am sor -" He stopped her words by pressing his lips across her own, pulling her deep into him.

"Now that wasn't a mistake. Please say it Molly, just say those two words." Carey carefully stepped back, leaning against the closed front door, as he watched her struggle against better, logical judgment versus the heart.

"Don't go." He finally smiled.

"Then I won't."
