001. Breathe
Something about her request made him want to laugh. He had never heard anything so ridiculous in all his life. It was almost childish when he really thought about it. However, her determined gaze never faltered. It was as if she dared him to say the things he was thinking, as if she dared him to laugh. When he leaned toward her, he saw her expression soften. Roy took her hand as he brushed her bangs out of her amber eyes, allowing a genuine smile to grace his features. Tilting her chin up, he kissed her softly before backing out of her front door. With a quick look over his shoulder, he made his way down the sidewalk and out of sight. One day, Riza would understand. After all, asking him to love her was like asking him to breathe – if he didn't, he would die.
Author's Note: Okay, short n simple. As I said, it's just to work on my writing and I have seen a lot of people write these just for that purpose. Hope it is enjoyable tho! R&R, please! It is greatly appreciated!
