I DON'T OWN THE TEEN TITANS
Please let's remember the pain of 9-11 let us remember the people who were killed or wounded.
Starfire was watching T.V in the living room because beast boy and Cyborg were on the roof playing volley ball. The alien was just channel surfing when she saw a kid standing up to a podium in front of hundreds maybe thousands of people.
"Wow there sure is a lot of people." Starfire said amazed not knowing someone walked up behind her.
"Yeah that's the September 11th memorial, for the terrorists attack." Robin told Starfire. Robin sat beside her on the couch.
"Please tell me friend Robin what is this 9-11." Starfire asked very curious.
"Oh well let's see, um it started off a normal day in 2001 but some bad people from Afghanistan called Al-Qaeda with their leader Osama bin Laden. Al-Qaeda took over 4 planes. About 19 members of Al-Qaeda were on each plane. Two of the planes crashed into the twin towers also known as the World Trade Center they were very large towers. The North and South Towers were crashed into by the planes in New York. The other plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. But luckily the people who were on the fourth plane took control over their plane and made it crash into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania to keep the plane from crashing into somewhere else where it could kill more people." Robin answered.
"Oh why would anyone want to kill innocent people in plane crashes?" Starfire asked.
"We are a war with Afghanistan and one reason is, because of this. Let's just be glad that the people on the fourth plane took control so even more people wouldn't die but they crashed." Robin said.
"Well is there anything we can do to remember today." Starfire asked.
"I think we can but I need your help." Robin asked.
"What is it I can do anything." Starfire asked.
"We could make a banner that says 'Let us remember 9-11' and we can put it on the side of the tower." Robin suggested.
"Okay what do you want me to use on it?" Starfire asked.
"I can get the paper and you can use red, gray for the white, and blue also get yellow for the stars please use markers." Robin answered.
"Yes i will go get my markers." Starfire said as she flew at light-speed to her room to get the color markers she needed. When she got to her room she went through her boxes of crafts to find the must have went through 3 boxes to find the right color markers she needs. When she did she flew right out of her room and back into the living room and she saw Robin putting a large piece of paper down on the table.
"Okay now put 'let' in red, 'us' in gray, 'remember' in blue and '9-11' in red. You can put random stars everywhere in yellow." Robin told her.
"Okay friend Robin." Starfire said as walked over to the table and uncapped her markers and started working on the banner. After about 15 to 20 minutes the banner was finally finished.
"Wow Starfire this really rocks and I'm not kidding." Robin said.
"Thank you now can we put the banner on the side of the tower?" Starfire asked.
"Yes let's go." Robin said as he grabbed the banner and headed to the roof with nails and a hammer. When the two got to the roof they both walked over to the side facing the city. Starfire held the banner in place as Robin hammered the nails in on the top sides. When they finished they said the Pledge of Allegiance and walked back inside the tower to watch the rest of the memorial.
