Prologue (Remus POV. First Person)

Me, James, and Sirius were in a muggle Book Store I wanted to check out, much to James and Sirius's dismay. "But Moooooonnnyyyyy," Sirius whinned "Why did you have to drag meee and Prongsiiiiieeeeeesssssss." James nodded in agreement. "Shut up and deal with it." A new voice said, before I could open is mouth to speak. Standing there, was Koryline Wolfe, a friend of theirs. Standing next to her was... Lily Evans?! Why would Lily be near James? Usually she kept about a 100 ft. distance away from him. As if answering my wuestion after reading my mind she said "Lily is stuck with me! Wherever I go she goes." She said with a grin. Suddenly she surged forward, pushed Sirius into another bookcase, and off the one he'd been leaning on, and Sirius yelped, causing the rest of us to laugh. "Jeez Kor, what was that for. Oh that kind of rhymed." Sirius said/complained. Koryline wouldn't take her eyes off the book, but spoke to James. "James." "What?" James said casually. "Do you have a relative named 'Harry Potter'." "No, why?" "Well, because there are seven books about him." Koryline murmured, looking at the book covers. "Well," Lily spoke for the first time, "The name Potter isn't exactly uncommon." "Then look at the cover." Koryline snapped. I looked and gasped. It looked just like James. I could tell everyone thought the same thing. "Why don't we buy these books, and head over to my house where we could all read them?" Koryline suggested. None of us had any other plans, so we bought them and headed to Koryline's house after letting all the parents know. Finally, two hours later, we were sitting on the rug of Kor's basement hideout, which was extremely comfortable. "Who's gonna read first? Whats the reading order gonna be?" Lily asked. "How about it's me, then Kor, then Sirius, then James, the you?" I asked, looking around. It was probably the easiest. Then we would just pass the book in a circle. They all agreed so I picked up the first book (Kor put lables on them) and I read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Published in-" I yelped and dropped the book, their hads all snapped towards me. "What is it?" Sirius demanded. "Ummm. Its published on June 30th 1997." I said, hands shaking. They all demanded to see the book and they saw for them selves. Finally, after half an hour from agruing, we finalky got started on the book, amticipating what was comng next.
