JASPER P.O.V

Carlisle knew I hated humans staying in our house. He knew it. But no, he still had to bring over his darling grandchildren. With a lot of greats in it. I looked at myself in the mirror and buttoned my t-shirt. That's when Alice came in. "Ready?" She asked. She loved guests. I have no idea why. "No," I said stubbornly.

Alice's nerves were becoming annoyed. "You never know, you might like them." She said calmly. God, I loved this girl. As soon as I finished dressing and getting ready, a new smell appeared downstairs-but it wasn't new. The guests were vampires. I took Alice's hand and went down the steps. No wonder Carlisle allowed it. I felt guilty thinking bad about him. Everybody else's feelings were excited and awed. I wondered why they were awed. Alice dragged me downstairs to find out, but the newbie's were out of sight, I could only see the back of their heads. The girl had rich, mahogany silky hair. The boy's was natural ruffled and blond.

"Granddad Carlisle! It's great to see you again!" A beautiful unusual voice was heard. "Its great to see you too, my darling Ingrid." Ingrid? What an unusual name, but like the voice, it was beautiful. "This is my lovely wife, Esme; this is Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice and Jasper. They are my children." I felt a simple pang of happiness when he said my name. That was when they both turned around to look at me, if I was human, I would've fainted because of her beauty, her gracefulness, her love… for me. It didn't matter about Alice anymore. It didn't matter that I was falling for another. Because I wanted her. And she wanted me too. I could sense it.

"Jasper?" She had her hand held out. I took it a little too late, after staring at her. Her perfect hand, she was even more beautiful than Rosalie. I never felt like this before. Not even when I first saw Alice. "I'm Ingrid, Carlisle's granddaughter." She moved onto Alice next. That was when I saw her brother. "And I'm Teddy, Her boyfriend." "Teddy?" I said feeling rather disappointed. Of course someone as beautiful as her wouldn't be single. "That's an unusual name." He chuckled. "It's Unusual, but special." His eyes twinkled. "You can say that again."Alice said, her feelings were confused. Like mine. I saw Edward eying me awkwardly. I flashed him a warning look. Don't tell Alice! She'll kill herself if she finds out what I've been thinking of Ingrid! He thought about this for a moment. Fine. He said stubbornly. "Here, let the boys show you your rooms and bring up your luggage." Carlisle said. Ingrid chuckled beautifully. "The luggage won't be a problem, Carlisle!" She said her voice so sweet, it put honey to shame. "Explain to them Ingrid. They look confused." Her brother chuckled. She flashed a dazzling smile and waved her hand across the suitcases. They flew up and went flying up the stairs as if they were being dragged by an invisible person. "WOW!" Emmett said easing the silence. "Boy, this chick is great!" Rosalie elbowed him. "Edward, Alice and Jasper have extra powers too." Esme said. "Really? What are they?" She said interested. "I can read minds," Edward said silently. "So I know what you're thinking." He said pointingly. What was this idiot on about? I could sense the tension in her body. "I can foresee the future!" Alice said rather bubbly. I was last. "I control emotions. And you don't need to feel so nervous, we won't kill you." I joked at the end. "Sorry." She looked right at me. I stopped breathing. "But I'm new to all of this."
