Surprise [one-shot]
It was 2 days after Shinichi and Ran's second anniversary.
"Oi, Haibara," Heiji whispered to Ai at Agasa's house.
"What?" Ai answered, with an ice-cold voice, at the computer in the living room.
Heiji said with a cheeky grin, "Ya wanna play a practical joke on Kudo?"
Ai rose on eyebrow and turned to him. "Why are you asking me that?"
"Uhh... because I wanted you to help me, I guess..."
She narrowed her eye on to him, "So, I'm nothing more than an information centre?"
"N-no, I just wanted you to share th–"
"Don't worry, I'll do it, if I mess with Kudo-kun."
A wide grin spread across Heiji's face. "Great!"
"Have you got anything on mind?"
"Actually... I do..." and Heiji leaned over to Ai left side and whispered into her ear.

On the fifth day after Shinichi and Ran's anniversary.
Ran and Shinichi were back from a trip to the shopping mall. Shinichi was holding most of the bags.
Shinichi chucked it into the back of his car, a blue, Lexus–convertible, while Ran got into the car.
"Shinichi! You can't just throw the bags like that!" Ran scolded.
"G-gomen, Ran, I-I promise I won't do it again!" he quickly said. Boy, does he know better than anyone, the consequences of messing with Ran.
A hint of a smile swiftly spread across her face and left as fast as it came.

They were home, at Shinichi's house, Shinichi quickly jumped out of the car and held the door open of Ran.
Ran giggled, "Arigatou, Tantei-rin."
"Anything for my lady," he said, taking a bow.
He closed the door and moved to the back seat to get Ran's shopping bags.
'Getting all this would need two trips,' Shinichi thought with a huff. Another thought came to him; Holmes once had to hold shopping bags too, says in the latest book, at least.
As Ran opened the door of the house, Shinichi asked Ran, "Did you know that Holmes–"
"SURPRISE, KUDO AND MOURI!"
The voice was no one they ever heard before.
"Shinichi..." Ran began.
"Shh..." he replied.
"COME ON! OVER HERE IN THE LIVING ROOM!"
"You wait here, Ran, I'll go investigate..." Shinichi said softly.
Ran slowly nodded.
Shinichi crept towards the living room.
He peered over, it was several women there, strippers to be exact!
As soon as they saw him, they started doing their thing.
"Kudo! Over here!" they said in unison.
"What the hell is going on?!" he shouted.
Ran hurried over to him, "Oh my gosh!"
"Why the hell are you, people, here?" Shinichi asked.
"Someone called us over..." one began.
"Get out of here, I have never seen anything like this in all my life, and I never want to!"
"Fine, but we're not paid yet, we done our thing, now pay us."
Shinichi hesitated, and took out his wallet.
"Shinichi? Why are you using only one dollar bills?"
"'Coz that's how you pay them."
Ran's mouth instantly fell open, dumbstruck, "H-how did...?"
Outside in the garden by the living room's window, were Heiji and Ai recording all of this, laughing their heads off.
Well, I'll leave the rest for you people to imagine up. ^^

Oh, and by the way, Tantei-rin, the "-rin" part, is like chin, that's usually used by girls to call themselves "cute", or someone calls them "cute".
