Crunch, crunch, crunch. The leaves crunched beneath his feet.

"Luna, what are you doing?" Neville asked.

"I'm watching it rain leaves." Luna said in her dreamy voice while lying on the ground.

"Luna, I don't think it can-" Neville started.

"Shh! Neville, I think another leaf is coming this way!" Luna intermitted.

"Well, ya, we're under a tree. Um, Luna? Why is it so special when it- um- rains leaves?"

"Well it only happens during certain months of the year."

"You mean autumn?" Neville interrupted.

"No. Just September through November." Luna corrected.

"Oh. Um- okay."

"And it just makes me happy."

"Oh. Well, see you later."

"Good-bye Neville Longbottom."

Crunch, crunch, crunch.

Neville climbed up the tree without Luna noticing and shook the branch a little, causing more leaves to fall.

Luna smiled on the ground. And Neville smiled too.
