Don't Give Up
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! THIS IS MY FIRST IKARI EVER. NO DARKNESS SHIPPING OR DAYTIME. IKARI! Phew. So this is only a short story of pure ikari. I promise there will be no darkness shipping in here. Plz review. Should I carry on writing ikari or darkness? I want to know your opinions. P.S. Sorry if it's rubbish.
Don't Give Up
Dawn's pov
Ergh! I've lost another contest! Sigh. I'm just a failure, I should just give up. I'm now traveling on my own as ash went to unova. Ever since I've lost all my contests. I guess I miss him. Oh well I'll just have to carry on like this and just train harder. I won't get anywhere like this…
I stuff the rest of my things into my bag and walk out of the contest hall. My next contest is in solaceon (?) town. As I walk out I bump into someone. I kept my head low and mumbled a quite sorry. Before I could walk away, the person grabbed my wrist. I turned to look at them.
The person had purple hair and stony onyx eyes. He was a bit taller, probably older, than me. Then it clicked. That frown… its Paul. He's the moodiest person you could ever meet, although that's what I like about him. I don't have a crush on him. Ok maybe a little one-
"have you finished staring at me?" he asked
"well you're the one who grabbed me" I shot back
"that doesn't mean you can stare at me. Anyway are you ok"
"yea I'm fine. No need to worry"
"really… coz you seem to be losing all your contests lately"
"how would you know. You don't ever like them"
He shrugged
"I'm fine ok. Can you let go of me" I ask
"sorry"
He let go of my wrist. Did I just see him blush? Oh well. I turn to leave.
"just don't give up" he called
I stopped walking and looked at him. I smiled and nodded before continuing to solaceon town.
I won that contest, remembering what Paul said. I didn't give up. I trained my hardest and won. Outside solaceon I found Paul who seemed to be waiting for me.
"congrats. So you didn't give up then?" he asked
"nope" I said in my usual bubbly self
"why did you listen to me?"
He stumped me. I can't tell him that I have a crush on him.
"you like me don't you" he smirked
I blushed. Too late.
"no" I say turning away from him
"don't lie to me. It's your blush says it all"
I sigh
"I bet you think I'm pathetic now"
Silence
"you're not pathetic. Ash is pathetic. You are troublesome"
I glared at him. Troublesome is his nickname for me. He's just as bad as Kenny calling me Deedee.
"why do you call me that? Why can't you call my proper name?" I ask
"coz you are troublesome"
I sigh again. This was useless. I'm not getting anywhere. I turn to leave for my next contest.
"how about you travel with me, Dawn"
He said my name. omg! I'm having a mental party in my head!
I look at him.
"seriously?" I ask
"would I lie to you?"
"yes"
"would it be a lie if I did this"
An then he kissed me. My dreams coming true….
