Azula laid sobbing in her mental institution room. All she wanted was to make her father proud. All she wanted was to make her nation powerful, and all it did was make her end up here. She knew she overreacted, she knew she was vain…but…she was only trying to make her father proud.

Azula screeched in pain as her electric wristwatch made of lead zapped her for thinking such thought. No one had escaped these things, but Azula was sick and tired of these horrible things that just sat on her wrist, preventing her from feeling any emotions or from using her powers. She screeched and lifted her arms. She felt her wrists contacting with the heavy grey lead. The lead kept zapping, but she ignored it as best as she could. She pressed harder and harder and the electricity became more and more intense, until *SNAP!* The lead flew off her in two pieces and landed on the concrete floor. Azula smiled deviously, "Finally."

Seeing her window with bars blocking her from escape, she stared outside. She saw two of the mental institution people leave a giant log, cut as labor for the mental girls. It was set their for tomorrow's assignment. But it wouldn't be for much longer.

Azula waited until the people left, surprisingly she knew she couldn't beat them in a fight, especially when the lead electric wristwatch pretty much zapped all the energy out of her. She then used a little fire to melt the bars on the window and hopped out.

Racing towards the beach, under the cover of the night, she silently got towards the log and the black sea. Using what little fire she had on her fingertips, she burnt a hole of a seat into the wood. Then, once she made it so that she could fit. The cool black waves lapped at her feet and in between her toes. She then got in and then pushed the log boat out into the sea. The log boat tilted a little, but she managed to get it to stay. Now was her time.

It was her time to shine.
