Author's Note: Just a random idea that popped into my head one day and that I thought was funny. Obviously I don't own any of the characters from Twilight or FMA. Though I wish I did.

Edward Cullen reclined languidly at the cafeteria table occupied, as usual, by his family. Another boring high school, another boring high school year, another boring high school day. Still, it was nice to be back in Forks. He'd missed the mountains, the forest, and, most of all, his meadow.
Edward gave a casual glance around the cafeteria. All new faces, of course, yet some were very familiar. Strong family resemblance to their parents…or was it grandparents? He barely acknowledged the passing of time anymore. Carlisle would probably know, someone had to keep track of the dates and years.
Edward cast his mind around to see how the Cullen family was being received by the students. It was important to make sure that they raised no suspicions. He caught his name being mentioned and paused to listen. A wispy red-headed girl was conversing excitedly to her bespectacled brunette friend.
"Oh, my God! Edward is sooo hot! That hair, that body, those beautiful golden eyes! Isn't he the best?"
Edward smirked. Typical high school girls. Always focused on the superficial. He had heard this conversation at almost every school. Well, they would soon see there was no point in pursuing him and would move on. Still, it was flattering. He was vain enough to be pleased that his brothers did not receive as much attention from the fairer sex as he did. He listened closer, his supernatural ears picking up the rest of the girls' conversation.
"Edward isn't that hot, first of all, second he is way too whiny and immature. Al is clearly the best."
Edward frowned. He couldn't remember interacting with the brunette. Why did she have such an aversion? And whiny? Immature? He was over a century old! He was never whiny or immature! Anyway, there was no way this Al could be better than him. How could some scrawny high school boy compare?
The red head sniffed indignantly. "Al is just a suit of amour. There is no comparison."
"Only if you care about looks! Al, is sweet and gentle and brave!"
"So is Edward! Yeah, he's a little rash, but he loves his family and he's smarter than Al besides."
"Only because he's older. And he's not that much smarter."
Edward was very confused. Why were these two girls so vehement? He'd only been at this school a day. Surely it would take longer to form such strong opinions? And how could they draw any conclusions about his personality after barely even seeing him around? He listened intently, trying to understand this odd scene.
"Whatever. Edward is the best. I love him even more than Alucard." The red-head sighed dreamily.
The brunette laughed, "You are so weird."
The red head shrugged, "Takes one to know one, I guess." The two girls giggled. "Oh, I almost forgot!" She dug around in her backpack and pulled out a glossy magazine. "Look, they did a whole cover story on FMA! It even has an interview with Hiromu Arakawa!" The two girls eagerly bent their heads over the magazine and began to read.
Edward looked through the red-headed girl's eyes curiously. What had just happened? They'd been fighting and then just stopped. Why had their conversation taken such an odd tangent? Would this magazine hold any clues? His eyes widened as the girls turned to a drawing of a young boy with golden eyes and hair. The caption under the picture identified the boy as Edward Elric of the hit anime/manga, Fullmetal Alchemist.
Edward started to laugh drawing stares from his brothers and sisters.
"Uh, Edward you okay?" Emmett queried.
Edward chuckled. "I'm fine, just a case of mistaken identity."
