Ode to Armor

Ode to Armor

No wind can I feel on my face,

I am hollow, a shell of who I was

I cry, but have no tears to shed

Am I really here?

Or am I a creation of someone's own loneliness.

A burning picture in a family album,

A childhood that fades away.

My brother reading into the night,

These memories are all I have.

From land to land, lead to lead,

We will search, hoping and fighting.

Our mistake has cost us,

To make right, how far will we go,

How much more can we sacrifice?
