This is a re-written part of when they were in the tower
The pain seared through Eugene, it was unbearable. The world was suddenly fading.
What was that noise? Rapunzel was begging her mother to let her save him.
Save him? She actually wanted to save him? A robber and thief, he was the reason that they were in this tower.
Gothel opened up Rapunzel's chains. Rapunzel ran over to Eugene.
"Eugene. Can you hear me, it's going to be all right."
Rapunzel Opened her mouth and began to sing.
NO he mustn't let her!
Eugene grabbed a piece of glass nearby and weakly slashed Rapunzel's beautiful hair.
"NO!" cried both Rapunzel and Gothel.
Slowly, Rapunzel's beautiful blond hair turned brown.
Gothel fell out the window and she was heard of no more.
Rapunzel leaned over Eugene. "Why? Why? How can I save you now? Why did you do that?" Rapunzel cried.
"Because I love- you." Eugene rasped.
"Oh Eugene, I love you to." But Eugene could not hear her, his head went limp.
"No. no!"
Rapunzel grabbed her hair and sang , crying
Flower- ... Gleam and Glow
Let you ,...power shi-ne
"Oh it's no use!"
"Why, Why did you take him, he was my love, I vow now that I shall never love another." Rapunzel tucked her head in between her legs.
Whispers floated around the room
Flower...gleam...glow...power...shine...was lost...was mine...
The room glowed with light. Soon, Rapunzel's scrappy short hair on her head was enveloped with the light.
Rapunzel looked up. "What? What's happening?"
She could feel the light inside of her body, and her hair growing waist length, it soon returned to it's normal blond color.
Rapunzel gasped and looked at Eugene as the light left her and surrounded him.
Eugene could breathe again! She looked at his wound, it was gone!
"Rapunzel? What happened? Oh-no! Your hair, Gothel."
"Shh, all is well, Gothel's gone. Oh Eugene, I thought that you were gone forever, but nothing can separate our love for each other."
They leaned in close and kissed, it was the most passionate kiss in the history of kisses.
