Max and Buffy sat perched on opposite headstones. The night had been particularly slow but neither minded. They both liked these nights off once in awhile. "Buffy behind you!" Max said as a vampire approached her friend from behind.
Buffy hopped off the headstone, twirled around, stake ready in her hand. The vampire and the slayer exchanged blows until Buffy finally dusted him. She looked back at Max who was still seated on her perch. "You wanna get out of here? Go check out the Bronze? Or something?" Buffy asked.
"Sure." Max responded jumping down. The two friends walked off, ending yet another night of slaying.
