/N Just an idea that popped into my head while I was trying to read XxXxXxIce PrincessXxXxXx story Last Night's Kiss and thought of this Alex/Juliet story.

Alex watched Juliet and Justin walk into the Waverly Sub Station. She was leaning on the counter when they came in. Juliet's arm around Justin's waist. She sneered at them. Justin just assumed that she didn't like it because she didn't have anyone.

The moon shown brightly outside. Alex shivered when the cold from outside hit her. Justin gave her a look, but she ignored him. She didn't want him asking her if she was okay.

Tonight looks like a cold one

The moon decides to show

Alex looked over at Juliet. She and Juliet had a thing once. Or she thought. Juliet had come over to help Justin study, but Jerry had made him go out with him and he didn't get a chance to cancel. They two girls had talked awhile that night, and Alex thought Juliet gave her a look. The wizard misread the look, thinking it was one meaning that Juliet wanted her. She hinted at it and Juliet kept saying that she was in love with Justin.

So this is the end of it

So Alex had left the room, hurt. Juliet followed but didn't get an answer out of Alex. She gave up and left after a few minutes.

Alex had to watch the girl of her dreams be happy with her brother. Sure she was glad that Juliet was happy, but she was also wishing Juliet was hers. Everyday Juliet and Justin walked in, she felt her heart rip apart a little more. As the couple sat in a booth, holding hands, Alex walked to the stairs. She stopped and looked back at Juliet. She was smiling, laughing at Justin's joke. Alex smiled slightly, then went upstairs, waiting for the day when she wouldn't be alone.
