A/N: Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Sorry I 'm late. I was unable to actually update A Dragon's Gamer Life this time of year because I was busy with stuff, and the fact that my computer was moved to one of my Dad's Office, meaning that I won't be able to update the story in a while. I know this may sound half-assed to you and I apologize but it's the truth. To remedy that, I'm going to try to write some random shorts and idea's I've came up with in my past time, this are one of those idea's. So I hope you enjoy.

The Melancholy of a High-School Janitor
Summary: AU! Issei Hyoudou, a washed-out janitor, had never expected to find his life to become a mess…and all because helped a second year fighting a giant she-devil thing! And strangely enough, she keeps following him around, offering him to join her "peerage" and become a "devil"!

Idea: Here is the concept. After losing his job as a cop from an accident, Issei Hyoudou went to work as a janitor to a prestigious former all-girl now turned co-ed school known as Kuoh Academy. As he works there, one night he witness's a second year female student that he could recognize as the rising school idol Rias Gremory fighting a strange creature on school grounds. Using his knowledge and quick wits in fighting(and also his broom), he helps her defeat the strange creature as quickly as possible.
After that event, Rias leads a confused Issei to an old school building inside an empty room(the yet to be formed ORC club) where she reveals to him that she is a devil, is in the process of making a peerage and offers him to join her as a devil. Of course the logical thing he does is turn her down, and she has followed him ever since, trying to get him to join her. And as it goes, his life slowly but surely turns weirder and weirder the moment he goes in contact with more of the supernatural.
As you can see, The story is an AU! of sorts. Where Rias is a bit younger and has yet to make her peerage, and some of the characters and situations are different yet still the same. Here are the rules.
Rules:
-Issei is still the same, but his pervertedness is toned down, due to his years as a cop, and is a bit mature, wiser, and smarter as he is an adult.
-Issei must stay human-preferably or so.
-He can acquire skills and knowledge from every other side, gain weapons, or train his body to the fullest.
-He cannot have Boosted Gear or any other Longinus sacred gear, just regular ones like Twice Critical, or no sacred gear at all.
-Some characters like the ORC must be different, due to them not following canon, but may retain some of their original personalities, so that they may not be too OOC.
-Side charcters MUST matter, no randomly making them disappear or killing them off with a lame-ass attempt or such.
-Must have Harem, but the girls have to make an actual and legitimate connection with Issei, so that means, no making them fall in love too quickly, no love at first sight, going all blushing at him suddenly, and no half-assed attempts at romance. Guy's a janitor…an ex-cop and a smart man but ultimately a janitor nonetheless. Not really appealing for a love choice now is it?
-Issei must work, and I mean WORK, to actually survive the supernatural or get a girl to like him. No Plot Armor!
