My love was torn away from me this day,
I turned around and saw her slowly fall.
No! I cried, there's so much I need to say,
But fate and gods merely laughed at my call.
Fire locked away in ice - to save her life?
I cannot bear to watch, I turn my head.
Her deathly pale face cuts me like a knife,
Recalling days I followed where she led.
Wasted hours and days haunt my grieving mind,
When I could not find the courage to speak.
Now I cannot seem to leave her behind,
Will I find once again the love I seek?
A voice in my mind whispers, "Wait and see,
She'll come back to you, some things were meant to be."
