The Warrior Singer and Soren

Prologue: Soren and Kludd just had their First Branching and Noctus and Marilla had just left to hunt. Soren had convinced Kludd to do more branching. Kludd got jealous and pushed Soren off the branch. He hit Kludd and they fell.
Ch.1- The Capture
Soren and Kludd hit the ground and they tried to get back to their hollow. As they were attempting, a Tasmanian devil attacked them. Two long-eared owls swooped in and one killed the animal and the other, named Jutt, snatched Soren. Jatt snatched Kludd and together the two long-eareds flew off away from the forest of Tyto. They were soon joined by a larger group of owls, each with an owlet in their talons. Soren had just befriended an Elf Owl named Gylfie when Soren heard a struggle towards the back of the group. He saw a rather large female Barn Owl trying to extricate herself from the talons of an Eagle Owl. Right as she was about to free herself, the group was dropped on a stone outcropping, where they were told that they were orphans. One owl, a Boreal, was giving a speech about how they were to repay the kindness shown to them with labor. Some will be soldiers, some will be pickers, and all will in some way serve the High Tyto and the Pure Ones.
There was a loud clamoring from the owlets because they didn't want to serve the Pure Ones.
