A/N: When a pairing sneaks up on you and gets you to write fanfiction after not doing it for a while. Just something short, but I hope you all like it!
"Where are we going?" Karen laughed as she gently touched the blindfold. "What are you up to?"
"I'm not at liberty to diclose that information, ma'am."
"You're not at liberty?"
"That's right."
They got out onto the street and walked along a little before stopping. Karen blindly moved her head around, waiting for whatever was to come next. Were they waiting to cross the road? Was there something in their way?
"Frank?"
"Just, uh, just wait right there. Don't move."
"What's going on?"
"Shh, just hold on a second, I... Ah!"
Karen felt Frank's hand on her arm, and then suddenly the blindfold was being undone. It slowly dropped away. She blinked her eyes against the light, and they slowly focused on the car parked in front of them. It was shiny, red, and looked expensive.
"You bought us a car?"
"I rented one." He moved round to stand in front of her, and raised his hands, only his index fingers raised. "But it's not a car."
She titled her head to see past him. "Sure looks like one to me."
"Nope, it's a spaceship," he declared. Her face changed as she looked at him, all trace of emotion was gone. "I, uh, I wasn't sure if you'd remember telling me, but back at the hospital, when we were talking about my family... About Frank Junior... You told me you used to take some ginger snaps." He held up a bag. Karen took it and looked inside to see a box of ginger snaps. "And you'd hide in the broom closet and pretend it was a spaceship."
"Yeah." She bit her lip, and blinked her eyes, as she nodded her head. "I remember."
"Well, I upgraded the spaceship, I figured you wouldn't mind."
Frank fished in his pockets and prestened some papers. Karen carefully opened them up. "Booking information?"
"I figured we could get away for the weekend." He held the car door open. "Out of the city. And if you want to stay away longer, you just have to say."
For a moment she said nothing. Frank began to worry that he'd done the wrong thing when suddenly she threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug. He wrapped his free arm around her. She burried her face in his neck, and squeezed as tight as she could, before pulling away, kissing his cheek as she did.
"I don't deserve you, Frank Castle."
He moved his arm away and rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, I don't know about that."
"Well, I do." She slipped into the front passenger seat. "Now, hurry up, my spaceship needs a pilot."
Frank chuckled softly as he shut the door. "Yes, ma'am."
