She Is free
Just a oneshot I wanted to write about what Sidney feels after the movie scream 3 When she killed Roman and her feelings about the future and her current relationship with mark. I enjoyed writing this please tell me if I made any mistakes, as you know I have postponed my ship of dreams story for various reasons.

Sidney was walking her dog Cherokee on a bright sunny Saturday afternoon in the woods around her cabin. It had been 2 weeks since she defeated her long lost half-brother Roman and killed him. Her own brother would try to kill his own sister how could he? Well of course, he was a psychopath like the rest of them but it still hurt.
She was walking by her cabin now, she looked to her right and saw Gale and Dewey outside her cabin talking I smiled because Dewey was gonna ask gale to marry him, I hope she said yes but you don't know with Gale. She thought about her and Mark they started dating after she killed Roman she needed a shoulder to cry on and he was there but when they first met they had a connection she never took much notice to it because she was been haunted again. They were taking baby steps because they did not want to rush into anything and she was still getting over recent events.
Cherokee was barking now, I opened the gates and decided to leave them open. The sun was shining brightly it was a new day. I looked to where Gale and Dewey were they were kissing, she said yes I smiled at the thought of them getting married I was happy for them it has been 4 years almost since they were dating on and off. It made me realize how much I want to focus on my life and make relationships with friends and family and get a good job and not worry about whom is going to find finally kill me. I can finally sleep at night knowing Mark is next to me. I opened the door and called to Cherokee "Come on Cherokee". He followed me in and sat down on his bed.
I turned to my alarm and started to press the buttons but I stopped hand hovering over by the buttons wondering if I should dial them my hand came up to my side. A voice broke my train of thought, I turned to see Mark holding a bowl of popcorn in his left arm and cast on his right arm, he said to me
"Hey Sid we've been waiting for you" I smiled.
"We're gonna watch a movie" he said eyes sparkling with happiness for some reason maybe because it has stopped.
"What kind of movie?" I curiously asked
"You'll see" he smiled and walked in the living room. Gale and Dewey walked through to the living room holding hands and smiling. I grinned.
Sidney started to follow them but a gaft of wind and a creek of the door stopped her in her tracks. She turned around and found the door had opened, she thought for a moment she started to smile because she knew there was no one there and the murders had stopped there was no ghost face anymore. She was not afraid anymore and most of all she was free. She turned to go in the living room. Gale and Dewey were sitting on the armchair together Gale on Dewey's lap. Mark was sitting on the three seater. I sat close to him, and I took some popcorn out of the bowl and asked
"So what are we watching?"
"A scary movie" Mark said. Expecting something from me but I did not do anything I was not afraid anymore.
"Hey that's ok right?" he asked me his eyes full of sincerely putting his hand around mine.
Gale and Dewey were looking at me now. I turned to Mark and said, "Yeah its ok am not scared anymore" I smiled at him and placed a kiss on his cheek. He pressed the play button.
Sometimes I get a little scared at night but Mark is there next to me and he does his best to comfort me. I was free at last and that is the way it is going to be. (For another 10 years laughs)
