Ok, so this is my first fanfic (no pressure there!) Please give me advice! Dont quite know how long I want this to be, It might even turn into a romance, but nothing is set in stone yet. I think she is earthborn, paragon (this might change or she may end up being a mix) also i think there will be a few POV changes, again not sure about that.
Prologue
Suddenly, I understood how Garrus had felt while we were on Menae. Earth was a mess. The view from Starboard Observation was... well, I wasn't really sure. If it wasn't for the fact that I knew the orange craters on the surface were caused by the Reapers, I might have said it was beautiful. Huh, make a nice canvas. I looked away, my eyes beginning to sting at the edges. This was a dangerous gamble, landing on earth. Hackett had assured me it was worth it.
"Commander, something's jamming up the comms." Joker's voice came over my intercom. I turned, walking from Starboard Observation.
"Shepard, it is the Reapers, but we cannot trace the signals. We need t-" The Normandy went quiet as EDI's voice cut out, the lights flickering before shutting off. Loud Alarms sounded in my ears. Red lights flashed in my eyes. My hands shot up to my ears, covering them as I began to run.
"Shepard, the Reaper signal cut of all systems!" Garrus' voice, hurried, in my ears.
"Commander, we need to get to the esca-" Ashley's voice breaking off as every light disappeared, leaving the entire crew in an empty void of darkness.
