"This is your project for the next three weeks." The teacher said happily holding up a small white chicken egg. All that he got in return was confused and annoyed looks from his teenage student. Alas, he continued speaking. "You'll each be assigned with the partner of your choice, all pairings much be boy girl, and you'll be given from one to two eggs to take care of with the help of only each other. As of now, these are not eggs, but your babies."
A brunette boy in the back row raised his hand quickly.
"Michael?" The teacher called.
"Um… I have a baby; do I have to do this?"
"Yes…" That was the only given explanation before the students ran to find there partners. (Aka, boyfriends and girlfriends.)
A red headed female named Donna made her way quickly next to her boyfriend Eric, while a dark brunette named Jackie clutched the arm of her extremely annoyed boyfriend, Steven Hyde.
"I'm not doing this…" Hyde said sounding just as annoyed as he looked.
"Yes you are, now shut up." Jackie said laying her head to his shoulder. She and Hyde where handed one egg amongst them, Eric and Donna where handed two.
An exchanged student nicknamed Fez was paired up with a large girl named Rhonda, they where handed a single egg.
"Name them, feed them, bathe them, and take care of them like a real child." The teacher started.
Michael Kelso, paired up with a girl named Pam, and two eggs, raised his hand again.
"Can we eat them?" He asked.
"No!" The teacher yelled. "You will fail if you break, eat, or harm your egg. Is that clear?"
There where several heads that nodded. "You have the rest of the hour to name your egg and list your responsibilities."
"So…" Donna said tilting her head to her boyfriend. "What should there names be?" Eric thought for a moment, more into the project than some of the other boys in his class. "I like Lily…" Donna said.
"Okay, that works… and how about the other one?"
"You pick." Donna said nudging him.
"Um… Boo?" He said. As it was the only name he could come up with. For them, it was two girls, Lily and Boo.
In the middle row of the classroom, Jackie looked excited; Hyde merely laid his head back, still seeming irritated.
"Lets name her, Jackie." Jackie said smiling with the egg cradled in her arms. "Should I take her first, or should you?"
Hyde sighed briefly.
"How about you take it, and I have nothing to do with this stupid project?"
"Don't call little Jackie stupid!" Jackie yelled. "He didn't mean it…" She whispered to the egg clutched in her arms. "He's just jealous."
"Anyway," She continued. "I'll take her home first. Then you will, and you will take care of her… Got it?"
Hyde rolled his eyes.
"I mean it Steven." She said. "If you boil, break, eat, or dent our baby, I'll boil, break, eat and dent your head!"
By the end of class, Donna and Eric had Lily and Boo. Hyde and Jackie had little Jackie, Fez and Rhonda had Scrambles. (Rhonda's idea) and Kelso and Pam had Chad and Claudia.
