Nights.
4:00 AM. Sakura was sleep drepived. She turned on her side of the bed to look at Sasuke, who was fast asleep. She liked these moments of full silence and calm where she could watch him sleep peacefully.
Not many times were like this. There were times where Sasuke had those awful nightmares that woke him up and where Sakura woke to find him trembling and almost crying, both scared in the dark room. Those times where Sakura had to hold him and tell him that everything was a dream and that everything was going to be okay.
'Even if it's just a dream...some time ago it was so...real.'
So now that he was in a dreamless slumber, she wanted to admire him, absorbe him with her eyes because to her, he was perfect.
She gently lifted her fingers to touch his raven hair and then she caressed his cheek to conclude in his thin lips. When she did so, Sasuke turned his head to the side so he was facing her now.
'I'm so glad to be your source of happiness.'
Sakura continued to study him, watching and protecting him of his dark past who haunted Sasuke in his sleep. She hoped that he was dreaming of something beautiful.
'I wish I could take away the pain you had to suffer when you were only a child...so innocent...and... so sad...'
She moved closer to him, wrapping an arm in his waist and burying her face in the crook of his neck.
''I love you so much,'' She whispered. ''I just want you to be happy.''
''I am. Thanks to you.'' He whispered. Sakura, who was previously almost asleep, opened her eyes in suprise. She thought he was asleep!
But Sasuke caressed her pink locks. And with those words she was happy. He didn't need to say anything else. In the very core of her heart, Sakura knew that Sasuke loved her as much as she did. Finally, she fell asleep.
'I love you.' Thought Sasuke.
It was his turn of watching his beloved in her sleep. His turn to protect her while she dreamt. His turn to think of her like she did, with love.

Author's Note: Meh... I know. Sasuke is OoC and Sakura may be like her old-self but I love her so I love that she loves Sasuke hahahaha OMG. Anyways, I think, in my mind, that Sasuke is very fond of her and very kind with her when they are alone. So, thus far, this story! If you don't like then, leave! Easy! hahaha!
