"Oh Jelly, don't be so down, you had twins and you look great!" Elina said, Jellylorum had been feeling like she was unappealing lately due to having her twins, Pouncival and Etcetera, who were off playing with a few of Elina's kittens.
"Trust me, you're the defintion of queen cat beauty!" Elina said, she usually said that to the queen cats to help them feel better, it usually worked but with Jellylorum was going to take a lot more than compliments to feel better.
"Well, you have kittens, and you look great..." Jellylorum sighed, "Come on, cheer up!" Elina said, nuzzling the queen.
"It takes time to go back to normal after having a kitten-"
"How many do you have?" Jellylorum asked, now curious about the human's kittens.
"...Fifteen."
Jellylorum widened her eyes and slowly looked at her, fifteen kittens!? Pouncival and Etcetera were a pawful by themselves!
Elina noticed Jellylorum's expression and chuckled, "No, no, you misunderstand, my kittens are adopted." she said, Jellylorum blinked, "Oh." she said, "They're too much to handle at times, but- TIGERLILY! what have I said about pulling Geneva's tail?" Elina scolded a cream tabby kitten with gold stripes and a green collar, "But I wasn't!" TigerLily said, but had her sister's brown tail in her paw.
"Let her go." Elina said, TigerLily let go of her sister's tail and ran off, Eina smiled satisfied and turned back to Jellylorum, "She's the oldest of the first litter I took in, she's adorable but is sometimes more trouble than the furry muffin's worth." she said, Jellylorum nodded slowly.
"But...there's one thing I'm worried about." Elina said quietly, "What's that?" Jellylorum asked in the same tone, "...I worry Corbin and her siblings may be Macavity's litter." she said, making the queen widen her eyes, "Why do you think that?" she asked, "I mean, look at Delano, he looks almost exactly like Macavity." Elina said, looking at a red kitten with orange stripes and gold eyes, "Then, there's Danuria, she has Tugger's leopard spots..." Elina said, knowing Tugger was Macavity's younger brother.
"Oh dear..." Jellylorum said, if these adorable kittens WERE Macavity's, what would they do? What would Elina do? Then she remembered how good a job Elina was doing raising these kittens and smiled, then put an arm comfortingly around ehr, "Oh Don't worry, dear, even if they were Macavity's, you'll put them on the right track, you'll raise them good." she said, making Elina feel better.
"Thanks, Jelly." she said, gving the queen a hug, they stayed like that for awhile until Elina noticed something, "TIGERLILY! LET GO OF YOUR SISTER'S TAIL!"

ok, ok, I know what you're thinking, "Why do the Jellicles allow a human in the junkyard?" well I had this weird idea ever since I became a CATS fangirl, "what if Elina knew the Jellicle's secret?" I know, it's Mary Sue-ish, but it could be worse.
