Summary: Tony and Ziva take the next step in their relationship.

Intimacy

Despite their non-traditional way of doing things, Tony and Ziva's official relationship began with a few dates. They had fun at a carnival; Ziva won a stuffed animal in shooting game and they ate candy floss together. The night had ended with Tony dropping her off and her giving him a kiss on the cheek. The next date had been three days later; they watched movies and fell asleep on Tony's couch. Their third date consisted of eating ice cream from one bowl. Their fourth date was them going to Abby's Haloween party together. Their fifth date had been dinner in a nice restaurant.

They had decided to go away for a weekend. They did not venture very far, just up the coast; to enjoy the beach in the off season and to get out of the city.

They walked across the beach with their hands linked by just two fingers.

"Tony," Ziva uttered as they watched the waves crash onto the sand. "Do you not want to sleep with me?"

"What?" Tony asked. He very much wanted to sleep with her. He had since they had first met.

"You have never even suggested it. Even when I suggested we go back to my place you said you had a headache." Ziva replied. "I know my body is different to other women's and that I will not do some things. But I trust you; I am ready to sleep with you. I would like for us to sleep together."

Tony had accidently seen some of her scars when they were shared a bed in Paris; he was not scared by them. He wanted to kiss them better.

"Believe me Ziva, it's nothing to do with that." Tony whispered.

"What is it then?" Ziva asked, her voice rose as she spoke. She broke from his hand.

"In all my other relationships I have jumped into sex and I messed it up. I don't want to mess it up with you. I want you to have you by my side every day for the rest of my life. Not just a quick screw," Tony admitted.

Ziva's face formed an 'o' shape.

"I am not going anywhere," Ziva told him as she took his hand again. She felt silly for jumping to conclusions. "I promise you, Tony,"

"I'm not going anywhere either," he told her.

They had been dating just over six months when it happened. In those six wonderful months they had gotten emotionally closer. They were laying on the couch on a quiet Saturday afternoon, with Tony watching a movie and Ziva reading, when it turned into a make out session. Ziva felt Tony's hand run under her shirt. She tugged at his belt. Their mouths broke apart.

"Are you sure?" Ziva asked.

"Yes," he replied. "I love you,"

"I love you, too," Ziva answered. Tony picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.
