A/N: Yes, another oneshot! This one is kind of silly, so please bear with me ;-)

"We need a new bed."

His announcement didn't go unheard, but tired as she was, she didn't feel like responding. Nodding lazily against his chest, she decided she'd ask what he was talking about when the sun was shining. Right now wasn't the time to do anything but sleep.

"Seriously, Montana."

Knowing he wouldn't let her sleep until she'd give him a satisfying answer, she opened her eyes.

"Sure, honey."

Thinking she'd given him the right answer now, she closed her eyes again, ready for a deep and dreamless sleep. Danny had other plans though, he sat up and sighed. Groaning, Lindsay rolled away from him, taking the blanket with her.

"Lindsay."

"What," she snapped, sitting up too. She looked at him, clearly annoyed.

"We need a new bed," he repeated, very matter-of-factly.

She sighed; knowing the best thing to do right now was just to play along.

"Why do we need a new bed, Danny?"

"This one is too big."

Lindsay blinked. "Too big?" she repeated, trying to get her brains to focus.

"Yes. We need a new bed. A smaller one."

She shook her head. "Why would we need a smaller bed?"

Danny groaned. "Because this one is too big."

"Yes, I got that. Why is this one too big?"

"I like it when we sleep close to each other, but in a bed this big it constantly happens that either one of us rolls away. In a smaller bed, we'd have to lie close to each other or roll off the bed. And when you roll off the bed, you wake up, and after you've rolled off the bed a couple of times, you'd be accustomed to not rolling in your sleep."

She blinked again. "So, you think falling out of bed could function as therapy for sleeping close to each other?"

"Not falling, rolling," Danny corrected. "Falling out of bed is a whole different story."

"Don't you think that if we'd have a smaller bed, our activities before sleep would be… limited?" she asked, knowing he'd agree.

"Ah, yes, I knew you'd say that."

Lindsay smiled, lying down again.

"I've got a solution, though," he continued, earning a groan from his girlfriend. "We still have the couch and the pool table, and if really necessary we still have the floor."

"What," she cried out. "You want to… really, Danny, I don't know if it's because of the lack of sleep or not, but this is crazy."

He pouted. "You don't like sleeping close to me?"

She sighed and covered her face with her hands. "Okay, Danny, listen to me, carefully."

Danny nodded.

"I do like sleeping close to you. I love sleeping close to you. And if having a smaller bed would be the only solution, I wouldn't hesitate to run to the stores and buy one. There are more things we do on this bed than sleep, though, and I don't want to give them up. So, here's my solution. We'll buy some extra pillows, lie them down next to us, so we can't roll away. Happy now?" she suggested, desperate to get him to shut up so she could get some sleep.

He thought of that, and then shook his head. "You know, that's pretty pathetic. Never mind, I'll just hold you close to make sure you won't roll away. Let's get back to sleep."

Lindsay chuckled, her annoyance replaced by amusement now.

"You're cute, you know that?"

"Yeah, yeah, you're too. Now are you rolling over to me or do I have to do it for you?"
