Ethan's Errand!

Welcome to the world of Pokemon, where Pokemon and people live side by side each with their own dreams and destinies. Some use them as pets others for battle and some even for crime but there are also those who have them as friends, since traveling between the five regions has become easier many trainers are being introduced to new Pokemon and new experiences.

Meet Ethan a Courageous young boy from Cerulean city who is about to embark on the most dangerous journey of his life.

"Hey Ethan go and see if I left my backpack by nugget bridge" Misty called from the back of the gym. "Why can't you do it" Ethan called back lazily, "because I'm running the gym you idiot!" she yelled furiously, "fine, fine geez what a nag", "I heard that" Misty called back "hurry up."

Ethan ran up to the bridge, a Mudkip following closely behind, "hey buddy" Ethan said patting it on the head. "Come on Misty wants us to run an errand." "Mud" Mudkip replies tiredly, "Do you want to ride on my shoulder?" Ethan asks. "Mud!" it says happily.

"Go ahead, climb up" Ethan says. Mudkip quickly climbs to sit upon Ethan's shoulder. Walking over to the bridge Ethan scans the area for Misty's backpack, "I don't see anything" Ethan mumbles "I hope it didn't fall in", "I'm not going in after it." Mudkip hops off Ethan's shoulder crossing the bridge he calls for Ethan, "Mudkip! Mud!" he calls pointing his head up. Ethan follows his gaze seeing the backpack up in a tree, "how did it get up there?" Ethan grumbles. "Looks like I'll have to climb up after it" he sighs, before Ethan has a chance to climb Mudkip takes a step backwards and head-butts the tree looking up expectantly at the stagnate tree Mudkip frowns. "It's ok little buddy, good try though". Griping the sides of the tree Ethan scurries up the tree balancing on the thin branch to reach the backpack, he stretches out his hand to grab the strap hanging loosely on the edge of the branch, Kicking back with his foot to keep balance he lunges for the backpack, as he grabs hold of the strap, a Kakuna drops down from the branch above scaring Ethan out of the tree, as he falls, the strap hanging from the branch breaks, he hits the ground with a thud. "Ouch that hurt" Ethan exclaims, "Mud" says Mudkip. "At least we got it down" Ethan says. Suddenly a strange buzzing could be heard emanating from the tree; Ethan looks up to see a Beedrill heading straight for them. "Run!" Ethan yells.

But the Bedrill uses a twin needle attack to stun Mudkip, "Mud…" Mudkip says painfully, as the Bedrill launches a poison sting attack. "Wing attack" a voice says as a shadow swoops down upon the unsuspecting Bedrill "wha… who is that?" Ethan exclaims looking around.
